Home-less-free occupying is not a free ride either
living insider
2014-03-25 3:46 AM Another article written on LA Indy was full of comments that derided the author as if that answered the question of how the everywhere-living-homeless in LA have used up what were spaces intended for the general public - for children, for athletes, for elderly, for the tired, the disabled, the visitors. And no blame is made but the reality is noted and forthrightly stated. No PC necessary. No attack the writer is needed. No solutions are available, apparently. (text/plain + 10 comments)

RENT may not be Controlled in LA City soon...watch out !
renter forever
2014-03-04 5:16 PM Rent Control may be diluted and rents increased if CC Parks get's his strange way. He often acts as a dissenter but this time [maybe again] it is AGAINST the Renters of his city of LA. Ex-police chief wants to gouge renters so they pay for landowners' expenses for earthquake prevention, that should already be paid thru yearly Rental Increases every single year, regardless of individual improvements made on apartments. UNIFY and LEARN MORE to not allow this proposal to City Council to gain any momentum. [and see other good article w/info here @ Indy that lists City Council members' contact info to immediately start ACTING IN ALL OUR city residents' behalf. NOW ! (text/plain)

Indymedia being inundated by repeaters
drowned out here
2014-02-14 7:38 PM A few commentators insist on obliterating any article they disagree or dont like by writing many repeated exhortations and insults and more...to insure the article looses it's main points or gets overwhelmed with other-than-that-person's viewpoint. In other words, some commentators attack profusely to blot out anyone but their agreers. Unfairly, Uncivilly. Hoping to Reduce INDEPENDENCE into obedience and agreement only ??? Taking over public areas by homeless means overuse not moderate fair-share-use
living insider
2014-01-30 12:18 AM Homeless folk are wanting their own bill of rights, it is noted. And yet the actual difference between those without inside living spaces to reside within and the others who find some way to share space, rent space, trade for space, and thus live indoors may be one of more than money they have available for rent.
The sharing of public park spaces, or sand, sidewalk spaces with those who Reside there [live in the public spaces and thus do not share those spaces] and those who want to just temporarily sit or enjoy that space for a short time seems to be in conflict. (text/plain + 70 comments)

Joseph Pitruzzelli, The Hypocrisy Never Ends.
Angry LA Artist
2014-01-25 3:40 AM
This is a rebutal to the hypocrisy in the blogs at http://woodsmithe.com/blog, where they let a documented liar, Joseph Pitruzzelli, pat himself on the back for his noisy retail nightmare that is helping destroy for the Arts District for the actual artists. (image/jpeg)
The Anti-Artist of LA Arts District Joseph Pitruzzlli, Falsely Praised as "Good Neighbor".
David Goldner
2014-01-24 4:50 AM
This is a rebuttal to an on line article falsely praising Joseph Pitruzzelli for being a good neighbor in the LA Arts District. Joseph Pitruzzelli has been an arrogant self serving nightmare for me and any artist unfortunate enough to be anywhere around his noisy sausage nightmare, Wurstkuche restaurant. Joseph Pitruzzelli and Tyler Wilson have been nicknamed the "Anti-Artists" of the LA Arts District by the actual artist who have been forced to endure their on going torture of the arts district. KPFK SECRECY, TURMOILS, CONFLICTS, OPAQUENESS, and HYPOCRISY too ?
akpfk loyalist
2014-01-14 1:27 AM KPFK is apparently again experiencing changes with inside-hidden-competitions. turmoil, factionalizing conflicts and has denied it’s stakeholders and paying Public Members and Sponsors any participation or even being informed of “what is going on there ?”
The most recent LSB board meeting was very unusually filled with KPFK programmers, some staff, and many public members present, speaking to problems that most members did not have any information about and could not obtain.
Twice during that long 5 hr meeting, public comment time was used to directly ASK all in the room to clarify, state, explain to ‘the rest of us’ what was occurring and yet there was NO DIRECT HONEST INFORMATION given openly by anyone in the room to those ‘not in the know’. Five hours of maneuvering, conflicts, discussions and yet not one honest response to the question “what is happening inside KPFK ?” that brought out so many people to speak in behalf of staff or complain about staff or promote their own personal issues and causes.
The Problem was never revealed nor stated. How could this be ? at Our Radio Station ?
