Harbor City Small Business Knowingly Hosts Anti-Muslim Website
HARBOR CITY- In a sign of our times, a new cyber
vigilante organization has taken to the Web, setting its sights on shutting down
Islamic Internet forums, calling for the death of Muslims, and even suggesting
that Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney, "nigger
cunt from georgia," be killed.
The Website KOBEHQ is hosted by Harbor City,
California computer store Computers
N.L.A. Dave Young
(see bottom of linked page), believed to be owner of Computers
N.L.A. has
been notified of the activities of the KOBE Organization, but has not taken
action to stop the Website's hate activities. Confirmation that Mr. Young
has received notification has been documented.
In an interesting sequence of events, emails sent to Dave
Young have been responded to by KOBE SBM,
the anonymous name used by the owner of the KOBEHQ website.
One of the targets of the KOBE Organization's reign
of hate and harassment, the website Break
Your Chains, has documented
the activities of KOBE. Break Your Chains hosts the John
Poindexter Awareness Office. The vigilante organization, KOBEHQ, has
sustained a campaign of harassment against the website's owner, in a manner that
provokes memories of the COINTELPRO operations of the 60s and 70s.

KOBE Headquarters Fights anti
KOBE
Headquarters Fights anti-American Dissident/Terrorist groups on the
Internet
KOBE Headquarters opened on
November 4, 2002 at
http://www.kobehq.com and has become one of the hottest new sites on
the Internet. Shortly after it's inauguration, KOBE Headquarters was
attacked by dissidents and organized subversive groups which have been
using the Internet to spread anti-American propaganda. Before KOBE came
along, they were free to roam the internet, opening message boards and
websites which openly seek to destroy the Government of the United
States and other countries through subversive means. Pictures of the
President of the United States with the Nazi flag as it's background,
inverted flags and government seals, calls to spy on and harass
government officials. International figures in other democratic nations
have not been immune to these activities.
KOBE feels that these
groups have gone unchecked and that their anti-American efforts should
not be regarded with apathy. We will actively fight them in support of
our government. Your lack of concern for freedom as it exists in the
free nations may one day result in losing it. AOL and a growing number
of software companies which provide content blocking for children and
institutions of learning have begun to block access to resources
operated by these subversive groups operating freely on the Internet.
Failure to monitor activities from such groups could provide a fertile
ground for terrorist propaganda, and covert communications designed to
undermine democracy. Active members of these groups claim that their
right to free speech is denied by these actions, however, in crucial
times, such measures may be justifiable (albeit arbitrary).

the KOBE Headquarters website contain nudity and commentary which

Kobe also likes to attack Middle School message boards. In the rural midwest a group of kobeites has posted lewd messages and pornographic pictures on a Middle School message board. They have engaged in lewd conversation with minors. They are not patriots or Americans.....they are terrorists and no better than Al-Queda or Hussein.

You demand that the KOBE website be shut down.
Yet there was a great wailing and gnashing of teeth when that web hosting company dropped al Jazeera. The Indymedia collective cried "Oppression!" and moaned about al Jazeera's freedom of speech.
Make up your minds.

Double standards are alive and well and living in Indymedia.
From the above article:
"Dave Young (see bottom of linked page), believed to be owner of Computers N.L.A. has been notified of the activities of the KOBE Organization, but has not taken action to stop the Website's hate activities."
"They are not patriots or Americans.....they are terrorists and no better than Al-Queda or Hussein."
From the thread JUDGE REJECTS PLEA FOR RAISETHEFIST.COM WEBMASTERhttp://la.indymedia.org/news/2002/10/19488_comment.php#55459
"it makes me completely out raged when a young black man is promoting positive change within the world and is now in jail."
"Raise The Fist is the best anarchic site.
Free Sherman to continue his most important work."
"I vow to keep the Reclaim guide available online with a proper disclaimer: I do condone, advocate and incite the use of violence against law enforcement authorities and political figures including the president of USA."
Now: do you see the double standard? You claim KOBE is guilty of cyberterrorism, yet you rush to the defense of a man who posts bomb instructions on his website.
Explain why that is not a double standard in action.

I know nothing about raisethefist.com's activities, legal or otherwise. I do, however, know about KOBE's illegal activities. You seem to believe that cyberterrorism is fine, as long as the people engaging in it agree with your political beliefs. It's still odd that you went from al-Jazeera to raisethefist.com. Odd, indeed.

And I'll explain why.
The author of the above article wants KOBE shut down for cyberterrorism.
Indymedia decries the arrest of raisethefists's webmaster, who has been charged with cyberterrorism.
Indymedia decried al Jazeera being dropped by their American web host.
The link tying all these together? The pro-Islamic bias of Indymedia. If an action is performed by Muslims, it is lauded. If the same action is performed by non-Muslims, it is condemned.
Al Jazeera lost their American host. This was "bad" because the pro-Arab view was perceived to have been lost to America, and there were cries of "oppression!" with governmental involvement suggested.
KOBE claims to be opposed to violent Islamization in specific and Islam in general, yet does not advocate violence except in self-defense. Indymedia apparently wants KOBE shut down, ostensibly because of "cyberterrorism", but let's be honest: it's because KOBE is anti-Islam.
Raisethefist.com's webmaster pled guilty to the felony charge of "18 U.S.C. 842 (p)(2)(A): DISTRIBUTION OF INFORMATION RELATING TO EXPLOSIVES, DESTRUCTIVE DEVICES, AND WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION WITH THE INTENT THAT SUCH INFORMATION BE USED IN FURTHERANCE OF A FEDERAL CRIME OF VIOLENCE."
Face it: Indymedia loves terrorists, be they anarchists or Islamists.
I condemn cyberterrorism from any source. Indymedia does not, and the call for the shutdown of KOBE while raisethefist's webmaster is defended is proof.
Like I said, double standards.

I wasn't aware that Indymedia had an official policy regarding cyberterrorism. Whether you choose to believe it or not, the members of KOBE are cyberterrorists. I guess that's okay with you since they're on your side of the political spectrum.

..."I condemn cyberterrorism from any source." is giving you trouble?
I never claimed KOBE were not cyberterrorists. I repeated claims made on the KOBE site, and made it clear that they were KOBE's claims, not mine.
Indymedia may not have an official policy regarding terrorism, but its individual posters sure seem to.
Now please explain why the condemnation of KOBE and the defense of raisethefist is not a double standard.

If you'd bothered to read my posts instead of thinking up a funny nichname, you'd know I was neither defending KOBE nor condemning raisethefist.
As I said, and will have to apparently keep repeating, I condemn cyberterrorism whatever the source.

You sent pornographic pictures and messages to children. Your organization makes me sick. I believe everyone has the right to free speech, but when you start behaving like a pedophile, you need to be stopped and arrested. I would love to see you in a cell with a man named Bubba who bends you into pretzel positions every night after "Matlock". I am also glad to see that your website is no longer around for the general public to stumble on.

That is why you should be shut down and charged. People logged everything your group did. Parents were outraged. Your biggest screw-up was when one of your idiots, I'm sure they couldn't help themself, wrote KOBE RULZ all over the website I am talking about........using the same IP they had used to proposition a little kid for sex. REAL SMART!!!!!

Try typing "KOBE Headquarters" in any search engine you know. Better yet, try typing "kobehq". According to the world's busiest search engines, KOBEs have gone FAR beyond the "general public", you moron! Simply statements of FACT. Review any of the threads where these so-called "kobe" and Stephen Devoy are involved, and the commentary is overwhelmingly in support of the "kobe". Besides that, they have a sense of humor which you anarchist types seem to lack.
