http://losangeles.cbslocal.com/2012/07/21/officer-involved-shooting-reported-in-anaheim/ http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2012/07/protesters-storm-anaheim-police-station.html The media are at it again, turning a legitimate protest into a "riot" after the police started attacking. They did this in the Downtown chalk protest story, and now they're doing it to the Anaheim community.
The police shot a man who was running away from them. The local residents had a legitimate protest, but the police, instead of opening up a conversation with the community, treated the situation as a "riot", when it was not a riot.
The press aren't doing their job, which is to question why officer-involved shootings that aren't justified are becoming (seemingly) more common in Orange County. The press are not asking if there's a need for some civilian review of the police to address possible problems in the police departments.
I never thought I'd say this, but the OC Register has a pretty good take on the situation down there.
http://www.ocregister.com/news/police-364905-dunn-anaheim.html They're tying it into other incidents with the department, and the investigation. The investigation is where you can find some justice now.
In reading the story, though, it sounds like he is being presented as a drug dealer. He was talking to friends by leaning into their car, but when the cops showed up, the friends took off, and the victim fled. As he fled, the tossed something onto a roof. If I saw something like that, I'd assume a drug deal.
But, so what if it was a drug deal - and I'm not being fair here, because he might have just been talking, and then tossed his own drugs onto the roof - and I'm assuming it's drugs and not something else. So what? Are the police supposed to kill someone who might be guilty of a minor felony, or a misdemeanor, or potentially nothing at all if he had a legal right to have some pot or prescription drugs.
Maybe he was carrying a gun and tossed it onto the roof. That would be rational - if he's arrested with a gun, that's trouble.
I look at the worst case scenario, where this guy was selling drugs to friends... and still cannot fathom why, if that's what the cops suspected, they would pursue and shoot.
The Global Satanic Government's (The CIA) joyfully, Fanatically, Unashamedly, Satanically, Sadistically, and Ritually Shooting Unarmed Suspects and Preemptively Attacking those who Protest their Post 9-11 Gory Satanic Ritual Serial Murders, and Attacking anyone who tries to Videotape their Gory Satanic Ritual Serial Murders, and turning America into a Free Shoot Zone for The Satan Worshiping Men and Women of Law Enforcement. A little side note. All The Police Power in The World does not Stop Violent Crime. The Satanic Pigs only come in Well after the Fact, and Promise Justice. They don't Prevent Crime, because Crime is their Best Friend. Without it they wouldn't have their Post 9-11 Police Power, so they make certain that they are always late. They would much rather Shoot someone who isn't Armed, because the can't hit back.
