Although there is a possibility that the block was in error, one of the organizers of the one day strike, Clarence Thomas, on a KPFK show radio Tuesday morning said that he thought it was suspicious.
In Los Angeles there was a call made by local activists for people to email Google for an explanation. The page was unblocked later in the day. No comment from Google has been received.
