You know, this lie - that 250 Farmers have been thrown off the Farm is absolutely fraudulent.
There is no backing for this from any credible source - not even the LA Weekly or the LA Times - neiother of which have been friendly to the Farm in any way.
These posts are fraudulent and extremely extremely redundant, and should , I feel be deleted.
Thanks,
Decolonize

apparently the previous poster never read the 1st amendment. Instead of posting evidence to counter the other poster, this poster would simply call for a deletion.

Enough of this ego driven bickering. Im not sure what part of the article is being claimed as false. The facts are that 350 families have been working here for 14 years, and that for the last 3 years, the developer has been trying to take steps to remove them. You can not claim that the helicopters buzzing over our heads at the farm dozens of times every day do not exist. To show anything but support for the campesinos who want to feed their families in a healthy manner; keep their children safe in LA; and keep their culture alive- is self centered. Food and families over profit- period

The evidence has been clearly stated elsewhere. The LA Weekly said the disaffected Farmers added up to 20 people. These posters keep claiming - without substantiation - 250 disaffected Farmers.
They also keep posting personal attacks against the Farm's leaders, most of it in the form of name calling and innuendo, the most disgraceful kind of attack, rooted, almost always, in moral and political bankruptcy.
This is a matter of the freedom of the press, if we want to worry about so called rights that are always reserved, ultimately, for the rulers, and not for the ruled.
LA Indymedia has stated political purposes that do not include making itself guilty of slander in the name of a right wing attack on the Farm.
It is not obliged to continue to allow unsubstantiated attacks and lies to be posted, but can "hide" them, according to its policies.

Why did Rufina Juarez and Tezozomoc throw out over 250 original farmers?

Leslie doesn't have all the facts... Been at the farm for 3 days and is ignorant about the history. A question that should be posed was the land ever mitigated? The land is CONTAMINATED!
Reality Check Please.
