Words from Jim Gilchrist on the march in L.A.
Jim Gilchrist said yesterday at a meeting of Minuteman Project leaders:
“America is experiencing a democratic disaster of epic proportion.”
“These armies of bused-in demonstrators who have converged on Los Angeles, most of whom are in the U.S. illegally, are demanding citizen rights, privileges, and benefits, and threatening that if their demands are not met, then the ultimatum is anarchy.”
“If federal and local governments buckle under the pressure exerted upon them by throngs of illegal alien bullies and their anarchist sympathizers, who have no legal standing and who flaunt the flag of another nation, it is classic insurrection.”
The U.S. has never seen such foreign invasion of its territory since the occupation by Great Britain, which preceded the Revolutionary War. Then, the 13 colonies were successful not only in removing the British army, but also in establishing this great nation.
Now we are occupied by an army of some 30 million non-citizens, illegal alien invaders who perversely place demands on U.S. citizens. If these demands are not met, will anarchy and insurrection follow? Are we on the cusp of a national disorder not seen since the Civil War? Do we succumb to weak-kneed cowardice in the face of blatant threats against the rule of law? Or, do we stand boldly against the demons of disorder and intimidation that will certainly strip all Americans of their Bill of Rights and their rights to the enjoyment of life, liberty, property and the protection afforded by the rule of law?
As long as I am a Minuteman I shall stand in the way of tyranny and anarchy, stoically unmoved, encouraging the kind of "tough love" leadership sorely lacking in most members of the U.S. Senate, many members of the House of Representatives, and all of the city council members of the anti-rule of law, criminal sanctuary cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, Phoenix, Milwaukee and New York. Tough rhetoric, perhaps, but only to those of criminal mentality or those who can't handle the truth.
As long as America is a nation governed by the rule of law...as long as we preserve respect for the Constitution of the United States of America...we will win this contest.
“Our adversaries promote lawlessness and social turmoil. America's Minutemen and Minutewomen champion the civility offered by the rule of law.”
It is a losing proposition for the lawless, but an absolute victory for the law-abiding, the American patriots, and the Minuteman Project.
Jim Gilchrist
Minuteman Project Founder
