A Palestinian man carries an injured child after Israeli occupation forces fired missiles at a demonstration in the Rafah refugee camp, southern Gaza Strip. A dozen Palestinians were killed... most of them children, with up to 50 seriously wounded. The occupation troops also fired tank shells and machine guns at the unarmed protestors. (AP/Khalil Hamra)

EMERGENCY PROTEST AGAINST ISRAELI WAR CRIMES IN GAZA LOCATION: Israeli Consulate in Los Angeles 6380 Wilshire Blvd (between San Vicente and Fairfax) Los Angeles, CA 90048 DATE & TIME: Thursday, May 20th, 2004 4:00 - 6:00 pm The Israeli Occupation Forces are committing war crimes throughout Gaza, killing civilians and demolishing homes. This month alone, at least 30 Palestinians have been killed already in Gaza, 21 of them civilians. A UN report issued on 5/11/04 states that, in the last ten days, at least 31 residential buildings in the Gaza Strip have been demolished or damaged beyond repair by the Israeli Occupation Forces. The recent demolitions have left more than 1,100 Palestinians homeless, bringing the total number of people to have lost their homes in the Gaza Strip to 17,594. The deliberate and wanton practice by the Israeli army of destroying homes and civilian property is a grave violation of international human rights and humanitarian law, as per the Fourth Geneva Convention, and constitutes a war crime. The Israeli government has promised that more homes will be demolished in the coming days. What is happening today is nothing less than ethnic cleansing. Rafah - indeed much of Palestine - is becoming a wasteland of destitution. Silence is complicity, and tears are not enough. Let us not sit silently while those atrocious crimes against humanity go unchecked. We appeal to all supporters of human rights to stand up and protest this loudly by all available means: contacting representatives, writing to the media, sending donations for humanitarian relief, and joining this emergency protest on Thursday. See www.alaqsaintifada.org/la for more information. Stop Israeli state terrorism! No to Apartheid! Stop U.S. funding to Israel now! Thank you, poster.
That was an enlightening bunch of stereotypes. Let me shake out the chaff and sifter the essence of your prolific verbose:
Since 1967, Israel HAD to solely defend itself. Appropriation of territories are justified for Israel's security. Arabs: live in their own feces, bloodthirsty granny killers trained from the craddle, ritually mutilate genitalia (I guess Jewish circumscision falls in a different category) and have bizarre fixations on heavenly teenage harems. Israelis: make the desert bloom, wonderful democratic altruists who reluctantly wage wars to "protect" themselves from barbarians, beg their resident Arabs to stay (cheap labor not be mentioned here), even build mosques for them ! Palestinians: I'll just put them between quotation marks to better show my racist conviction that they just don't exist a a people. French: they are so easy to hate and provide such a nice finishing touch to my pamphlet. Let's go over and over again about their supposed cowardice. That makes us feel so superior and at a cheap price too!
And lot of hand-picked figures in an effort to look more credible. Maybe these figures were too large to be printed in your post: 3.3BILLION dollars of yearly US sponsoring to a state practicing apartheid-like doctrines, in violation of SEVENTY UN resolutions for over FIFTY years.
I see a great future for you as an impartial commentator for Fox news.
PS: did you actually wrote this or plagiarize Ann Coulter? It has all the usual insipid ingredients found in her goebbelian rants.

Hmm, cheap labor, that's funny, it's even funnier considering Muslims in Sudan kidnap their own and force them into sex slavery and indentured servitude. Or how about the fact that the going wage for a Palestinian worker in Israel is still thrice that of a regular Arab living in one of his own gloriously segregated racist Muslim lands. Mmmm, let's try this, the fact that Israel is now the breadbasket of Europe with an an export of fruit, grain and vegetables that feeds three times itself or more in size. By the way, I hate Anne Coulter, at least we agree on something. Don't you ever try to play the Muslims are saints card with me. Everyone is evil, including you. The Israelis are a good people, in a rotten situation, with some bad leadership. The Palestinians are a good people, in a bad situation, with a lot of predjudiced rhetoric against Jews, who sell each other out, who sell each others land out from underneath each other, and send their kids to die instead of to school. Fuck off and get some balance.

-against Jews, who sell each other out, who sell each others land out from underneath each other- did you know your paragraph contained this statement? I know you were referring to Palistineians.
'Fuck off and get some balance' then 'The Israelis are a good people, in a rotten situation, with some bad leadership. The Palestinians are a good people, in a bad situation'
the scale of violence is ridiculous to portray like a similar ratio of violence between two equally guilty adversaries in similar situations. comparison, please..

The argument that the Arabs in Israel are paid more than those elsewhere is not dissimilar to the argument that Blacks in America are better off than those in Africa. It's true, but it doesn't constitute a moral justification for the situation.
Relative wealth doesn't make up for social oppression.
But, even I am being evasive here. More to the point, it's obvious that the colonized people who live closest to the colonizers are going to have the most trade with, and have incomes tied to the income of, the colonizers. Those in the far flung areas will have less. Those in entirely other countries are in an incomporable situation.

All the the Palestinians do is bad mouth Israel , if something happens to them bad , its the Israeli's fault . If a window slips and smashes their fingers , its because Israel raised up the window . They can go on killing innocents in cowardly ways and they are portrayed as heros . Israel cracks down on them for smuggling weapons in to hurt Israelis , but Israel is evil . Palestinians stage riots and hire their own children to throw rocks at each other and blame the Jews . I know , I have seen it done . If they don't want their houses razed to the ground , they need to get LEGAL permits and they need to quit harboring violent offenders in their homes ; simple .

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict isn't nearly that complicated.
It's pretty basic.
What we have over there would be the good guys (Israel) vs. the bad guys (Palestinians).
Time after time the left supports the bad guys. Why am I not surprised that they're doing it again.

That's because a lot of the left have simplistic thinking.
They see a situation as one of oppressors (Israel) and the oppressed (Palestinians). Or another way, colonial invaders (Israelis) and the indigenous residents (Palestinians). Or another way, the racist proponents of apartheid (Israelis) and the vicims of said racism and apartheid (Palestinians).
They don't really understand the subtlety of the situation, where the racist colonial invaders implementing apartheid and assasinating enemies of the state are the "good guys", and the oppressed indigenous residents being segregated by a big wall and facing a future of continued misery are the "bad guys."
But, then again, maybe the left aren't exactly the kind of people who identify with people who live in mansions built from the labor of slaves, with gunboats to invate tiny island nations, and a small army of maids and security personnel, and an electrified security gate. Or dream that they might one day find themselves in that situation.
