The U.S. military eats more than half a trillion dollars in a year when you factor all the secondary military flows.

US Citizens, realize that the UN estimates that only $40 billion would feed all hungry in the world for a given year.

I don't have the answers, but I know everything about the way things are organized now is totally fucked up and anything but logical. The Pentagon can't even defend it's own building from (so we are told) four dudes with box cutters after nearly 2 hours advance warning of their arrival......... Nice to know they've spent our $13 trillion well over the last 40 years.

Yes folks.... $40 Billion a year is all it would take to turn the entire world into the biggest pro-America cheering club in history, to buy true security. We don't need to spend $500Billion per year on military. We could spend half as much and have VASTLY more secure nation and world.

I don't have the answers, but we can't ignore contradictions. No Freeper, right-wing freak, troll or whatever can argue the ultimate truth of these contradictions.
