BLOWBACK
The horrific and tragic acts of destruction inflicted on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon on Tuesday, September 11, 2001 can only be understood in a historical context. It is necessary to examine the historical pattern of horrific and tragic destruction inflicted directly or indirectly by the United States on "Third World" peoples in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America. The term "blowback" is a CIA word meaning the unintended consequences of prior policies kept secret from U.S. citizens. I believe that without significant changes in U.S. policy, more blowback, with tragic consequences for more U.S. citizens, is likely. I urge the U.S. to adhere to the rule of international law rather than unilateral retaliation. Retaliation can only exacerbate, not eliminate, the conditions that motivate revenge in the first place. Considering that the 9/11 mass murderers didn't grace us with a screed regarding their motivations, how does Wilson so confidently declare that this is "blow back".
Does he have inside information? If so, he should be sharing it.
The rest of the world is clamoring for proof that bin Laden is behind it. Why does Wilson seem to not worry about this. Is it because he knows?
I doubt Wilson knows anything the rest of us don't already know about who did this and why.
So I find his explanations perplexing?
Does bin Laden care one bit about ASIA? Palestine?
No.
He HATES the Saudis and other moderate Arabs as well.
Its tough to conceive of pure evil. . . even when you see it. But your eyes are not lying to you.
spokesman for these fiends. Wilson seems intent on establishing a valid motive for these guys -- since they didn't leave one themselves.
Who would want to do that?
