other than the two birds hitting eachother (which happens more often than you might think - we have pet Bluejays and they do it all the time) there's nothing unusual about the footage.

It looks real to me plus the 2 birds didn't hit eachother - they just came close and both altered their paths

I concentrated on right before the jet hit - looking at the shadow of the sun on the tower and the reflection off the metal, the impact, the smoke - as far as I can see it's real..

One of the websites claimed the photographer "knew it was going to happen" - it doesn't look like that either, he only barely catches it at all after hearing the *scream of the jet right overhead* in airspace no aircraft should be flying..

I don't see any indication it's fake - some people seem to mistake the sun's shadow and smoke clouds just as the nose hits (at first black smoke before it ignites) - the nose hit way before the wings and fuel tanks did..

some have claimed a missle was fired - the video isn't good enough (close enough) to tell - the black smoke is consistant with *what's in the nose and forward section of a jet* as far as the video shows..

a much closer shot would have clairified this but from what this video shows I don't see anything unusual

When the subject came up I posted that I saw the orbiter and lunar lander separate at the moon with my own eyes using my telescope

(as tiny dots but you *could* see them)

the lander had to orbit once as it decended around the dark side of the moon..

watched it on TV - we both agreed that the effect of dust depositing over millions of years cannot be simulated on a wide scale (movie set) because it requires a high vacuum..

you can clearly see this in the photographs - the landscape cannot be faked because there's no atmosphere there..

then there was the delay of the radio signals (1/4 million miles causes about a 1 second delay)

Ham radio operators could pick up the signals with good beam antennas pointed at the moon at the time (they used VHF back then)

so there's several ways it's varified...
