Workers Film Festival returns to San Diego this May Day weekend at the Digital Gym Cinema in North Park! We've got a strong line-up of the most recent international films that connect workers and social justice struggles. Join us Friday May 2nd - Sunday May 4th. I know what struggle means. But what is this "social justice" supposed to mean to workers?
"Social justice"? Sound kind of nebulous (love that word of the day stuff). Could mean a thousand things to a thousand people. And phrases that could mean anything just end up meaning nothing at all. Nothing but a hook, a catch phrase.
I work. I am looking forward to waking up at 6 tomorrow to drag myself to another day of sweat and toil so that I can pay my bills. Now, tell me what this "social justice" means.
