Listen to KPFK's staff talking to Pacifica Exe Director

by kpfk loyal volunteer Saturday, Mar. 29, 2014 at 7:31 PM

Listen to a KPFK interview with Summer Reese a few nights ago, produced and interview by Roy Tuckman and Eben Rey, available on Soundcloud. Interesting to have direct verbal vocal information instead of so many other internet shades of grease that proliferate in trying to form stories and gossip and biased versions of what happened to whom. The direct person involved in the personnel issues of Pacifica are discussed here. KPFK listeners called in and added opinions also. Can the whole organization be saved and healed and repaired so it will not repeat [and again and again] ???

This is a sound room expose for an interview between 2 KPFK late nite staffers and Reese, Pacific Executive Director, a few nights ago, providing more direct information of the conflicts, firings, illegalities, confrontations and all that is "happening" in the Pacifica headquarters located in Berkelely adjacent to the KPFA radio station.

Questions and direct answers are here. Amazing ?

Listen and try to decipher what is actually happening that is endangering Pacifica as a nonprofit corporation....that can collapse or be ruined by legal suits and illegal maneuvers...and then affect all the other 5 stations especially including KPFK, one the most affected due to it's struggling financial condition.

Your Comments on this Facebook page can be also added, non-maliciously and no attacking allowed, please !!!

Not taking sides or leaning hard to prove anyone wrong or right or good or bad, listen and find out what else we here in LA have not known or been told, so far.

Finally, 2 people courageously exposing the secrets that keep the whole set of stations and it's holder in deep factionalized chaos repeatedly. Finally a broadcast, also available on the KPFK archives for Something's Happening Show also, same program.

check it out. And share this info with others who may also be worried, concerned, sick and tired of all the fighting and one-sided attempts at take-overs, at killing-off-others-with-malicious-misinformation, and at maybe even some hoping for a "take over"....

Issues like: KPFA not being able to be audited in allotted time, Corporation for Public Broadcasting withholding payments due to audits and financial papers not being sent in a timely manner and when KPFK listeners, payers, are continually exhorted to pay, pay, buy, send money! and pay again, then the questions about how inefficient or dysfunctional the system[s] have been and continue to be to this moment.

There being no Human Resources expert in the Pacifica systems means anyone can claim anything as "true" or "fact" and there are no corrections, rules, guidelines nor preventions for malactions.

and see this great Sayles story that was available on audio but it can be found in a book [ yes. it's from Amazon ]that describes these scenes humorously, entitled "The Anarchists Convention" . - “

Sayles, the famous writer director wrote a piece that describes such scenes fantastically and funny too called

"The Anarchists Convention", to be read in written form - now available at http://www.amazon.com/The-Anarchists-Convention-Other-Stories/dp/1560256915

when it was findable in no LA local city libraries for years....it should be in a theater and all Pacifica affiliated people see it for FREE and recognize themselves 'in person'.
