How An Animal Rights Activist Changed The World In 5 Hours

by S Shriver Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013 at 10:21 AM

With only 5 hours of work, Henry Spira convinced Prime Minister Indira Gandhi to stop sending primates to the US.

The following is a description of Henry Spira's
action which in 5 hours changed the world.

Reachable Star Or Change The World In Five Hours

Henry went to hospital
Twas Bethesda Naval
and took a picture of an ape
in a restraining chair.
And took it to an international
picture wire
called Black Star
which sent it round the world..
and Gandhi saw and knew
that the treaty had been violated
.. and cancelled monkey export
.. because Henry in 5 hours
.. saw and reached for
.. one bright and reachable... star!

*
Footnote:
Countless primates have been strapped
into restraining chairs... they sleep, eat,
pass waste in these chairs... their legs
cramp... they go crazy.
(dedicated to Henry Spira of Manhattan.. maritime
worker organizer, public school teacher,
effective animal rights worker whose
teacher Peter Singer, author of Animal
Liberation, wrote a biography of him.)

Countless primates have been researched
on at Bethesda Naval Hospital, Centers
For Disease Control, National Institutes Of Health,
Harvard, Yale, Cornell, University of Texas,
University of Wisconsin, Oregon schools,
Ohio State, Kent State, Princeton, Emory University,
Oxford, Cambridge and other UK universities
ad infinitum. The Chinese are now breeding
primates for Western research institutes. These
secret torture labs are often underground.
(50,000 underground dogs died at the University
of Texas in a flood.)

Many senators have terrible animal rights
records. Perhaps the 5 worst are
Feinstein, Inhofe, Coburn, Chambliss,
Izakson... who pushed the Animal Enterprise
Terrorism Act which criminalizes the
first amendment.

It was Prime Minister Indira Gandhi
who cancelled export.

Senator Feinstein

by Observer Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013 at 10:25 AM

Senator Dianne Feinstein has greased the way for
laboratory animal torture profiteering. Besides illegally
using her Senate post to funnel over 1 billion military contracts to her husband Richard Blum, she and he, as chairman of the
University of California's Board of Overseers, were instrumental in passing the Animal Enterprise Terrorism
Act which criminalizes the first amendment in regards
to nonviolent animal rights action to publicize laboratory
torturers.
