Today is monday night and there's a whole other set of demonstrations going on. I think one is the Islamic HOPE one. There's a crowd at Leimert that's surrounded by cops. The talk about it is on twitter and facebook.

This first linked video is the Black Riders LIberation Party at the mic during the first night. The ad-hoc organizers had an amplified mic and people from the community, activists, leaders, faith orgs, and artists spoke.

by Addie Vuitton - a group of around 100 people marched north on Crenshaw toward Wilshire, but were stopped at Exposition.

by Dang Da Wei - SULU activists at a march on Sunday that was walking northward from Leimert Park. This is around 30th at the old Ralphs. Later, this march would go to Hollywood.

by Occupy Los Angeles - The big deal of the day was the late afternoon blockage of the 10 Freeway at Crenshaw.

by Occupy Wall Street (or reposted by them) - Another shot of the freeway. The police would eventually arrest several, and the blockade would disperse and move on.

by JD Rivera - Sunday was marked by multiple demonstrations. Around 300 people came to Mariachi Plaza to rally and organize. Local organizations Not 1 More, Corazon del Pueblo, and some others put this together.
