In the movie Paraguay wins the war and the two biggest heroes worshiped by the Brazilian military ones are ridiculed.
Osório is a y fumbling gawho dies after giving shot himself in the face. Duque de Caxias flees during a battle and loses the final single combat against Solano Lopez.
