Autonomy under attack: Rawesome Foods raided

by Who's your farmer? Saturday, Aug. 06, 2011 at 8:00 AM

Rawesome Farm Buying Club was Raided by SWAT and FDA agents. Nearly all of their raw foods were seized.

Public Health Officials today descended once again on a buying club, that specializes in raw foods. Club organizer, James Stewart was arrested at his home, the locks to his personal residence were changed, his papers, money and computer seized. At the same time, farmer Sharon Palmer and Weston A. Price Foundation volunteer chapter leader Victoria Bloch Coulter were arrested. All three were charged with Section 182A-Conspiracy to Commit a Crime. Bond for James Stewart was set at 3,000. Bail for Bloch is recommended at ,000. Bail for Palmer is recommended at 1,000.

The FDA agents did not handle the food properly when hauling it away to test it for supposed contamination. So if anyone is expecting unbiased test results, that has already been botched.

Some of the food coop members and workers commented, "Is your check made out to you directly by Monsanto?"

Raw foods allow people to be entirely self-sufficient, with no reliance on the state, the mercantile exchange or the corporations. They are also healthier because they maintain their full enzyme, protein and beneficial bacteria content. Here is Mark McAfee on the benefits of raw milk, for example.

Mark McAfee organized consumers into a standing defense committee. They have successfully defended raw milk rights in California through rallies, letters to Congress and radical media appearances.

To help, visit farmtoconsumer.org and consider donating to the legal defense fund for the victims of this attack by the fascist state.

And start supporting raw and organic foods by eating and growing them. Your body will thank you with less allergies, lower chances of developing cancer and more overall physical health.

Buy from food coops, farmers markets and CSAs. Get to know your farmer and build support networks. Can you answer the question, "Who's your farmer?"

How to find farmers markets in California

by Who's your farmer? Saturday, Aug. 06, 2011 at 8:05 AM

Here is a search engine for finding farmers markets in California. It also helps with finding CSAs (Community Supported Agriculture). I favor farmers who sell non-GMO and organic foods because these offer maximum health benefits and minimum corporate control.
