Orange County Judge allows violent batterer to sell victim''s property out from under her
Orange County seniors think their recorded assets are protected. Judge James L. Waltz of the Lamoreaux Justice Center thinks otherwise. On January 21, 2011, Waltz awarded an ex parte order allowing a violent abuser to undercut the recorded real estate holdings of a disabled 93 year old woman. This was the elderly woman’s life savings. The abuser had no equity in the property. The title search that accompanied the abuser’s clearly perjured declaration showed that the elderly woman owned all the equity in the property. The batterer had been ordered off the property in an earlier matter. The elderly woman was not a party to the ex parte hearing and was never notified that it had taken place.
The batterer had previously permanently disabled the elderly woman. In June, Waltz removed the elderly woman’s information from a domestic violence restraining order. Waltz allowed the abuser to live in the house of his elderly victim. She was later rescued by her family and friends. Her spine had been permanently damaged by the abuser. Later, another judge restrained the batterer from contact with his elderly victim.
Waltz’s ex parte order allows the abuser’s agent to place a lock box on his victim’s property. This endangers the very life of his victim. If the victim dies, will the batterer get away with his felonious actions?
Orange County judges need to be responsible for reviewing the facts of their cases. Allowing violent abuse to occur and allowing abusers to ignore recorded documents to steal the assets of their victims is unacceptable in the 21st century.

Follow the money..... I suspect Judge Waltz is either a complete moron or on the take. He's been known to fraternize with some influential and wealthy attorneys in the family law courts and routinely conducts 'off-the-record' proceedings when there is a lot of money involved. Quid Pro Quo means something else in Judge James Waltz Courtroom!

Waltz is likely one of the most corrupt judges in orange county. There are a handful of attorneys who it seems he will pretty much do anything for, especially when there is big money involved. If your not invited to his inner-circle watch out.

Judge Waltz is an insult to the American Justice System. He currently presides in Family Law in Orange County which already has ample number of "crooked/biased" judges.
In August 25, 2005 he sold a Client down the river by sending the trial judge all of the client-lawyer files of his client who was convicted to 18 years to prison. Lawyers all over the country were outraged and he is being sued for this conduct by a top firm from Harvard University. He is an "unethical lawyer and judge". If you have a sizable settlement at stake and you are a woman , 170.6 yourself out of his court quickly. This is TRUE.

Good News to all! Judge Waltz is scheduled to retire from the bench January 1st, 2013. There are a lot of 'rumors' out there (some of which he has put out himself through attorneys who he is 'in bed with'). But the bottom line as I understand it is that he's out. There probably were too many judicial counsel complaints against him for them not to take action. If you have complaint still FILE IT. Maybe we get this crook disbarred once and for all!

I am the petitioner of a case in Judge Waltz's courtroom, and he has been nothing but fair to me. I am "In Pro Per"
He prevented my ex from moving out of state, dropped my child support 0 when I was awarded 50/50 custody, she as been denied alimony, and he forced her to get a job.

Judge Waltz presided over a case where the child repeatedly named the father as her abuser and molester. Took custody away from her mother without reason. Gave the father sole custody. There is an active open investigation on the father Dr. Mahathep SriKurejia by the Tustin Police Department. The police removed her from his custody twice in effort to protect her. Even despite media coverage on this story Waltz still gave the named molester custody. He claims to care for this child?? This child has said repeatedly she has been abused by the father and begging to be with her mother. This man is evil and should pay for his crimes on the bench.
