11/8/10 Los Angeles Mystery Missile: FAA Notice to Airmen

by repost Friday, Nov. 12, 2010 at 7:36 AM

A warmongering capitalist class that maximizes its profits from munitions and oil knows no bounds when it comes to staging incidents to increase support for its war machine. We now have the 11/8/10 Los Angeles Mystery Missile, which the World Socialist Website comments on, including an interesting FAA Notice to Airmen.

"One fact that raises additional questions is an official FAA notice to airmen (NOTAM), issued a few hours before the contrail was filmed by the traffic helicopter. It declares: “The following restrictions are required due to Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division activation of W537. In the interest of safety, all non-participating pilots are advised to avoid W537. IFR traffic under ATC jurisdiction should anticipate clearance around W537 …”

"W537 is a large swath of the Pacific Ocean extending southwest from Los Angeles through Santa Catalina and others of the Channel Islands. The FAA notice was apparently created at 12:52 p.m. local time Monday (20:52 GMT/UTC), the day of the incident, but was not to take effect until a three-hour period the following day (2 p.m. through 5 p.m. on Tuesday, November 9)."

still more questions

by No Answers Yet Friday, Nov. 12, 2010 at 7:59 AM

Where was the missile tracked to?
Are there rogue elements within the military beyond the command change like the mysterious loss of the sixth nuclear weapon at Minot AFB? And the subsequent death trail of involved soldiers and airmen?
The ability of the military to provide protection of the sea lanes off LA is now in serious question.
Is this a warning of some kind?
Unannounced and undisclosed orbital packages are potential acts of war and since there have been no announcements of a tracked impact we should assume an orbital track.
This is not a drill.

It was a contrail from a jet plane

by mous Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010 at 8:37 AM

DST kicked in, and the plane was flying earlier than normal. The sunset lit up the contrail and people saw it. That's what a cloud researcher said.

I think it was just some people with active imaginations freaking out over something changing in their afternoon routine.
