The LA fundraiser, which will take place at the home of Marilyn and John Wells, costs $2,500 per person to attend, although “co-hosts” will have to shell out as much $30,400 each, the maximum allowable contribution by a donor to a national party committee per year.

Presidents often stay at the Century City Plaza Hotel or Downtown at the Biltmore. These are other possible protest sites.

Some of still work for a meager living, even if PT...and trying to drive along Wilshire Blvd in West wood I found that I could not get on Wilshire because policed had cordoned off the street acess,. red or green light, no matter, no cars in the way of the politicians who come to LA...
and this was at 2:30 pm....not near 5 pm at all....

who come to LA to RAISE FUNDS $$$ for their cohorts, allies, party members and whatever other celebrity needs the Prez has...

The Prez is using OUR CITY police and perhaps even in overtime pay, which WE, not he, pay for....to segregate his majesty from The American People he likes to claim he is part of, tho no more.....if ever....

and we are NOT INFORMED in advance of the route on FM radio stations [only ones I listen to] ..maybe to insure secrecy and privacy and HIS majesty's security-
sure everyone is mad at him and his friends in Washington and yet we would not "shoot" him, just shout a bit tho he could not hear thru those bullet proof windows anyhow...nor does he care what we say...as has been clear with the bailouts and other handouts and the poorly employed not helped at all, not even to find or get a full paying job....

really.....this politian who became the Prez is here to fund raise, to get money and elicit Hollywood's good image as if he too 'belonged' amongst the pretty and handsome and movie set...and we sit in our cars unable to use our own streets to get to work.....
or be docked for being late...

I actually had to park, walk 4 blocks limping along, to get a bus that luckily was still able to come north ...and yes, I was late to work, and yes, I was docked for the time not present, and yes, I resent having to pay for any security services that disrupts OUR LA city streets for someone who is coming to get more money !

How paradoxical = weird= contradictory = greedy is that ?

The Prez can do anything and we are stuck with his bills and his disruptions...

not very presidential at all, looking at old newsreels of how the images this Prez likes to compare himself to sat in open cars in motorcades, with their security, but w/o the fear and super-protection that he claims he needs now...does he really ?

or is this scene in the fair city of LA telling us that he is USING US ONCE AGAIN for HIS OWN GAINS and
campaigning early to be seen with the glamorous crowds in LA ?

all at YOUR expense, at my dismay and frustration, at our loss of use of our own streets and reduction of our incomes as we pay for the LAPD and it's equipment and it's time and they are not fighting crime but creaing one HERE NOW instead.
