The jury in the murder trail of Johannes Mehserle for the killing of Oscar Grant has returned a verdict of guilty of involuntary manslaughter.
LA-IMC reporter outside the court house reports an angry response from the crowd gathered there. About 35 protesters still there at this time, others headed to a rally at Leimert Park scheduled for 5:00 pm.
Crowd outside expressed outrage at what they felt was too light a verdict. Protesters there do not believe that Mehserle’s actions were involuntary.

I got there late, and there were a lot of speakers. Only recorded this one woman who was the mother of someone killed by LAPD. I believe the victims' name was Ronald Wilkins. Correct me if I'm wrong. Her's was a pretty messed up story, with police harassment.
There were around 100-150 people at the event. Lots of speakers, who i didn't catch on camera. BRLP was there of course - they just got raided by the LAPD, probably related to today's events. Ron Gochez the immigration activist was there. There's video out there. Hope people post their own.

The Imperium needs its enforcers to be
1. above normal laws
2. feared
Remove the above two tools and we have common law justice by the people.
Somehow the LAPD has been able to, as most of the Imperium's enforcement arms; evade public control.
We all know why. Public control is dangerous for selective law that serves the real masters.
Until the people have a real control over the funding and review/promotions of these individuals who carry lethal sanction from the state, the police will continue to terrorize the people who are regarded as serfs on the master's lands.
