a solution

by Hang the Banksters Thursday, Jun. 10, 2010 at 1:53 PM

where is that South African doped metal film solar technology?
Things that suppress usable energy are expropriated and locked away to continue the cash flows, not to help mankind.
'Clean energy is all around us' just hidden and directed towards keeping certain families in the quasi-royal throne of power.
Any attempt to break this trend will be attacked, believe me.

Actually

by urwurst nitemare Sunday, Jun. 13, 2010 at 5:08 AM

The radical environmentalists who forced drilling off shore and into deep water are the ones who need hanging. This disaster is surely on their heads.

haw haw

by Mr. Corrector Sunday, Jun. 13, 2010 at 6:27 AM

well that was funny as 'environmentalists' weren't the ones which bought up and closed down the cracking plants to bottle neck production=increase prices.
And 'environmentalists' weren't the ones watching porn and snorting drugs while they were supposed to be enforcing safety procedures.
A whore congress again, being diddled by special political contributors, like BP to be allowed to run amok in the name of cost control and profit margins which are NEVER enough.

They're going deep

by mous Monday, Jun. 14, 2010 at 10:23 PM

They're going deep because they can, and there's oil down there.

I know, the Repblican bullshit-point is to drill in ANWR. They just go on and on about it. Fucking annoying.

Even if they drilled in ANWR, and pissed off the environmentalists, the oil companies would eventually drill in the deep oceans. Burning a lot of oil is the status quo. It keeps the rich people rich.

The big disruptor is having to switch to different energy sources and alternative fuels, and use less fuel. That's like landing on the moon or curing cancer to the big money interests at companies like BP, GM, Boeing, Texaco, etc. It would destroy some parts of the oil business.

So, DRILL BABY DRILL. KILL BABY KILL. KILL KILL KILL THE OCEANS AND LAND.

Keep going like that and you'll eventually find yourself in JAIL, BABY, JAIL.

what...?

by Mr. Corrector Tuesday, Jun. 15, 2010 at 3:29 AM

no one of any significance will serve time.
This is kleptocracy in full bloom.
Eating the foundations out from under all of us.
An orgy of sanctioned looting.
And -cough- both political 'parties' [ I resent never being invited because I hear they're quite spicy ] only serve the banking houses of Wall Street.
Even the 'Independent' Sanders provided good legislation for these institutions.
Corruption is endemic at nearly all the upper levels everywhere one is to look.
If you close the door too hard, the entire house will fall.

Re: Hands Across the Sand

by questions poser Sunday, Jun. 27, 2010 at 6:26 AM

Hands Across the Sand protests offshore OIL drilling.

How many participants will be driving PETROL-POWERED vehicles to and from the event?

How many participants will have purchased their PETROL from ARCO (a BRITISH PETROLEUM retail brand)?

Significant points to ponder....

good!

by Mr. Answerman Sunday, Jun. 27, 2010 at 7:07 AM

It's a funny question.
Here's a few facts
Ford originally designed his machine to run on hemp oil until the Rockefeller interests got together with a profit motive in mind.
Diesel designed his engine to run on peanut oil and 'fell' overboard on his way back from a European demo; died and his invention became fueled by petroleum!
What happened to the doped metal electro-voltaic technology?
Don't tell me it was a threat to a profit flow?
Like the war on drugs, suppression of a product always increases the prices through control of the distribution or even usage thereof...
All petroleum products could be eliminated with the use of hemp and peanut oil.
