Unbelievable conditions in the Arizona desert

By Michael Webster: Syndicated Investigative Reporter. May 19, 2010 at 10:15 PM PDT

Part two of a multiple part series

I was able to interview Col. Ron Adler with the United States Civil Defense Association (USCD) who is head of that organization in Arizona. He told me that on May 15, 2010 as a Col. with the United States Civil Defense they were ask if their members would consider joining the Concerned Citizens efforts to help secure the Arizona border with Mexico.

Col. Adler said “that according to the Concerned Citizens they wanted to alert us and others to their new citizen activist group they had put together and would our organization be interested in helping to observe and report the daily activity we met detect at their posts.”

Col. Ronald Adler, with the United States Civil Defense Association.

He went on to say that they assured him that they are not a Minuteman or extremist group but just a call to action by a group of "Concerned Citizens.”
However they did say they supported Gov: Jan Brewer signing SB1070 and say they want to help educate the public. They say "It’s time to bring back the" Minuteman Type Lines"
They say that there propose is doing what they do best..... "DETERRENCE BY PRESENCE"

According to Col. Adler “The day they kicked off the program he was there for the their operation so that he could evaluate, observe, and critique there operation for his organization.

The locations of deployment was: Interstate 8, 45 miles south of downtown Phoenix
where they placed base camps at some major choke points along I 8 east of Gila Bend.”

Col. Adler told me that he met with Mr. Glen Spencer and his aerial cameraman Wes of the American Border Patrol at the municipal airport at Gila Bend Arizona at 11:00 hours on may 15, 2010. “After a debriefing and he had agreed to act as spotter, he said "we lifted off aboard one of three airplanes that they have available for patrolling the U.S. Border with Mexico.”  “We flew east along highway I 8 where the authorities and the locals say is the drug smuggling capital of Arizona.

"We were able to spot the Concerned Citizens base and other camps along the choke points of the well traveled drug smugglers corridors. We also saw lots of tire tracks, heavily traveled foot trails and the trash scattered that the smugglers have come to be known for.
Abandon items found on the smuggling routes lift there by the smugglers and cleaned up by the Concerned Citizens. Photo By Concerned Citizens.

What a shame the mess you can see from the air, what they have lift behind all over the smuggling corridors that was once a very peaceful and beautiful virgin desert  We returned to the Gila Bend airport at 13:00 hours where they let me off and they proceeded on their way.”

Col. Adler reported to his group that “I met up with reporter Michael Webster with the U.S. Border Fire report and concerned Citizen George Short of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corp of CA.”
George took us to the Concerned Citizens base camp where he showed us around and introduced us to a young man he called Gunny who claimed to be an x-marine.

Col. Adler said "Gunny appeared to be in charge of the base camp. After I asked some questions and looked around Gunny ask me what I thought of the operation so far.  I told him that things looked pretty good but with two exceptions that their ass was hanging out on. First being that they had not fortified with sand bags as I had earlier suggested and second they should work on having better communication equipment."

"I was wondering why the Arizona Rangers wasn’t participating and making their resources available to this group. Later I placed a call to the rangers and Al bozzolo of the Verde Valley Company who explained to me that they are only able to respond when called up by law enforcement or the Governor."

"I also was concerned that again the mainstream media was not covering this important event. I was infirmed the next morning that an ultra light aircraft violated our international airspace over the Berry Goldwater Range just east of Yuma and NORAD scrambled two F-16 interceptors.  The American pilots reported upon their arrival in the area that the ultra light aircraft had retreated back into Mexico."

Col. Adler said "we have been hearing that Mexican Drug Cartels have been using ultra light aircraft to transport drugs and to also act as spotters for the smugglers on the ground."
"Mr. Spencer shared with me that he had arranged for a flight of his ultra light in conjunction with the U.S. Border Patrol recently and as he flew back and forth over the U.S. Mexican border the U.S. Border Patrol told him that they were unable to detect him during that flight. Just why that was, was very curious to me as I know they can detect a field mouse when they want to."

The Col. said that "I found Mr. Spencer to be a very competent pilot and knowledgeable about Border matters. Wes his cameraman was alert and an adept at his trade."

Later Col. Adler met with members of the leadership of the organization and he briefed them as to his observations of the previous day. "I told them I can appreciate the major effort that they are putting forth and the United States Civil Defense will support them as best we can. However I indicated to them to please keep in mind that a large number of our members have already committed to helping out in the gulf.  I assured them that we would be looking forward to our groups working together in the future."

The U.S. Border Fire Report has received the following information.
I am here right in the middle of it...I mean VERY, VERY CLOSE....and not much is being done about it at all.  Many times they are dropped off here in town saying they are FROM Phoenix or Tucson. Thousands in "drop-off" houses in our City, sometimes 70 hiding out in one small house..(UNTIL Sheiff Joe finds and arrests them)....  VERY Sad and scary, and will this "illlegal" thing EVER be resolved??????????????...................
The guy who took these pictures is from Canada  & comes to AZ every year.  He is a retired trooper, so he has special interest in this.
The smugglers have absolutely no regard as to how they live or what they want or what they EXPECT from us or how they are decimating Arizona.

When Col. Adler got back home here was what was waiting for him in an e-mail. He said it was a real  EYE OPENER ...ANOTHER MONSTER LAYUP
REST AREA similar to the ones he had seen from the air last Saturday these are reported to have been discovered by CDC AZ SEARCH & RESCUE.

The e-mail went on to say “We breathed a sigh of relief the day the Senate defeated the Amnesty Bill, but the USA is still being invaded!”

“We discovered one of the biggest layups we have ever found. (pictures below)
This layup is on an  "illegal super - highway" from Mexico to the USA (Tucson, ARIZONA) used by smugglers. This layup area is located in a wash area approximately .5 of a mile long just south of Tucson.

They said that they estimate there are over 3000 discarded back packs in this layup area. Countless water containers, food wrappers, clothing, and soiled baby diapers. And as you can see in this picture, fresh footprints leading right into it. We weren't too far behind them.

This photo guy said “As I kept walking down the wash, I was sure it was going to end just ahead, but I kept walking and walking, and around every corner was more and more trash!”

And of course the trail leading out of the layup area heading NORTH to Tucson, then on to your town tomorrow.

“They've already come through here. Is this America the Beautiful?”

Or another landfill?

The trash left behind by the illegals is another of the Environmental Disasters to hit the USA. Had this been done in one of our great Northwest Forests or Seashore National Parks areas there would be an uprising of the American people........but this is remote Arizona-Mexican border. You won't see these pictures on CNN, ABC, NBC or the Arizona Repugnant.  Nor will they mention the disease that comes from the human waste left in the desert.
(They do talk about light bulbs a lot though...)

This information needs to be seen by the rest of the country. I'm sure Washington has seen and has KNOWN all of this for YEARS, but we can't get them to help close our borders and stop all this...WE, here in Arizona, HAVE to show OUR papers when we go in to Mexico....WHY do they argue we CAN"T do THAT to THEM???   WE HAVE a BIG problem, folks...

this tireless, self-promoting, self-professed "reporter" is nothing more than a CIA organ grinder's monkey, going on about the big bad MDCs who, in fact merely act as mules for the CIA in this most lucrative result of the War on Drugs.
Pointing their dirty fingers at their clients again.
