AJLPP CONDEMNS THE US-ARROYO’S KID GLOVES HANDLING OF AMPATUANS

The Alliance –Philippines or the AJLPP condemns in the strongest posssible terms barbaric massacre perpetrated by the Ampatuan warlord dynasty in Maguindanao last November 22, 2009. The massacre victimized 62 ( at the present count) that includes 27 members of the Philippine press, 22 women who were all raped and mutilated and 15 bystanders who happened to be passing the scene. Arturo P. Garcia. West Coast coordinator of the Alliance said that "the AJLPP is one with the National Press Club (NPC) and other democratic forces in the Philippines in condemning “this senseless act of political violence. " “The massacre proved again the naked truth. That warlords and their dynasties led by the Arroyo dynasty in Pampanga is very much alive in the Philippines. Arroyo also heads the biggest private army composed of the AFP and the PNP in the Philippines” Garcia said The Alliance squarely blamed the US-Arroyo regime for the massacre and believes that this massacre is very common of the human rights violations under the US-Arroyo regime.

AJLPP CONDEMNS POLITICAL KILLINGS IN MAGUINDANAO AND THE US-ARROYO’S KID GLOVES HANDLING OF AMPATUAN

Los Angeles— The Alliance –Philippines or the AJLPP condemns in the strongest posssible terms barbaric massacre perpetrated by the Ampatuan warlord dynasty in Maguindanao last November 22, 2009.

“The massacre proved again the naked truth. That warlords and their dynasties led by the Arroyo dynasty in Pampanga is very much alive in the Philippines. Arroyo also heads the biggest private army composed of the AFP and the PNP in the Philippines” Garcia said

The Alliance squarely blamed the US sponsored -Arroyo regime for the massacre and believes that this massacre is very common of the human rights violations under the US-Arroyo regime.

Culture of Impunity under US-Arroyo marches on

The AJLPP also chided the US-Arroyo regime for the kid gloves handling of the prime suspect Mayor Andal Ampatuan Jr. who was “ taken into custody” five days after the massacre, given VIP treatment and until now has not been charged of any crime.

“The US-Arroyo regime has been notorious in handling such cases like the Garcellano affair, freeing the Teehankees and Jalosjos and now- the Ampatuans. We just marvel on how slow her justice system works while how fast and terrible she is when it comes to the democratic opposition in the Likes of Ka Bel and the military rebels.” The AJLPP

said.

Arroyo won in Maguindanao besting popular Fernando Poe Jr in a dubious election in 2004. Again the Arroyo ticket won handily in a lop-sided 12-0 in the senatorial contest in this province. This with the help Garcellano of the COMELEC and the Ampatuans in Maguindanao.

Worst massacre in History

The Ampatuan massacre in Maguindanao for the AJLPP is the worst massacre in Mindanao in the most recent times. It surpassed the Carmen Cotabato massacre in 1971 where 200 Muslims were killed because it was characterized by brutal rapes and mutilations of women and civilians.

“We will not be surprised that after going to the motions, the AFP and the US-Arroyo regime will clear the Ampatuans and blame the massacre to other groups like the MILF like what they are doing now.

What else is new? The US-Arroyo regime is just utterly shameless!” The AJLPP finally stated
