Campbell Hall is Occupied

The UC system is for the working families of California, it's in the charter.
Thanks for indymedia for providing coverage of the protests. In solidarity from Oakland.
Far from elite, my students are working full time and part time to make ends meet. They are multiracial and a representative of the real california.
This is about privatization and a broken state as much as it is about their tuitions.
It's unfortunate that many students have to work in addition to going to classes and doing homework. I've come across a number of students who had to compromise a lot because of the time taken up by work. People who had to pass on entering the honors program. People who ended up with a few B's and the rest A's, instead of straight A's in a semester. There really needs to be a way for students to be able to go to college and not have to work AT ALL so that all their focus can go to their studies. And they should be able to finish with NO debt and they shouldn't have to resort to working for the banks to pay off loans and debt. Anything less is unacceptable. If there needs to be a form of Socialism or even Communism to achieve this, then so be it.

which is why the UC regents, led by their token (half) black house-slave, Ward Connerly, got rid of affirmative action back in 1995 ?
Motherf*cker please...
