Students have taken over Campbell Hall at UCLA in protest of police brutality and privatization.
At around 11pm, students took over Campbell Hall on the UCLA campus. As of 3am, the building is still secured with 35 students inside.
The building was renamed Carter-Huggins Hall, after Black Panthers Bunchy Carter and John Huggins who were murdered in the building.
The occupation is in response to the proposed 32% tuition hike, administrative malfeasance, and the tasing of 4 students and beating and abuse of many more.
We want everything! Occupy everything!

This is an issue not only about students.
This is about the future of California.
California Budgets. California Social Services. California Taxes. California Education. California Diversity.
