They're bringing "Stormtroopers"? I didn't know they were Star Wars fans. Are they gonna have guys wearing the costumes and helmets just like in the movies?

I'm not sure exactly what a Nazi or NSM "Stormtrooper" is. Probably just some fancy title intended to sound militant. Like Stormfront and Stormtrooper. Their "Stormtroopers" are probably just skinhead guys wearing the latest white power shirts.

The storm troops were also called the SA, and were a paramilitary organization. They were distinct from the better known SS who were a military organization.

Another way to put it, is that the SA were street thugs organized into gangs, that took action against communists, unionists, and other people whom the Nazis considered enemies.

Eventually, they were destroyed/disbanded by the Nazis/Hitler, who saw them as a political threat. The SA are considered by some (and probably by these new nazis) to be a "left" or "people's" faction within the nazi party. (Another way to think of the situation is that Hitler was centrist and moved right, to a more openly corporate/business position, and needed to rid the party of its populist groups.)

That could be the case here. More likely the "Stormtroopers" we'll see in Riverside, if they show up, are just more guys holding NSM flags. If there is any historical significance, it's probably more of a novelty for them. Like Revolutionary War re-enactors. Maybe they'll wear those cheap blue Confederate jackets and hats like we've seen in Laguna Beach.

I think they'd be taken more seriously if they wore Star Wars stormtrooper costumes. And have one in a Darth Vader outfit doing Hitler salutes as the troopers goose step to their spot to demonstrate.

It's difficult to tell the ADL from the SOS or Stormfront at times; due to constant references to "the Jews".

slavery was a peripheral issue at the start of the Civil War.
Mostly it was a protest about northern banking capital and industrial manufacturing imposing an economic strangle hold on the agricultural resources of the south.
Slavery was at first a reluctant side issue.

if the war WASN'T about slavery, then Jefferson Davis could have freed all of the slaves, then genuinely claim that the war was "all about northern yankee aggression", but for this to have happened it would mean the end of the concept of aryan supremacy in the South-- something the CSA would NEVER tolerate.

the individuals who make this claim want re-distribution of capital within the context of an aryan supremacist society, which is analagous to what the SA brownshirts sought during the third reich. Beneath the black hoodies they are wearing brown shirts.
So when you see them throwing rocks at the windows of an empty store front, they're renewing a family tradition as their uncles did the same exact thing during Kristallnacht
