There is a hearing on Wednesday June 17, 2009 at Los Angeles City Hall Room 1020 on a proposed cell phone tower on top of a residential apartment building. Speak out against T-mobile's attempt to force a cell phone tower in a residential area with its harmful radiation, where kids play and families live.

The tower is unnecessary other companies get great service in the area and T-mobile's website itself says its coverage of the area is the best. A 58ft cell phone tower on top of one of the tallest apartment buildings in the area equals more blight.

Do you know the address of the building?

The fact that there are other carriers in the area is not relevant.

If you have a Sprint phone, can you roam on AT&T? No.
If you have a Verizon phone, can you roam on Nextel? No.

For cases before the federal courts in the 9th Circuit, the judges do not look at other carriers in the same area because subscribers can't use those other networks.

If T-Mobile has a significant gap in the Palms area and and their solution is the least intrusive means of plugging that gap, then that's what a judge will care about.

It is now irrefutable that cell phones and other sources of RF and EMF's cause brain cancer and a host of other acute and chronic conditions. Schools and city councils should be lobbied for change and wi fi should be taken out of schools and libraries. RF and EMF health issues should be taught in schools alongside the dangers of tobacco and alcohol. Our educators have a moral and legal obligation to protect our children from toxic environments.
