Coalition for Better Community (CBC) Celebrates Mother’s Day at FACLA on May 10

Los Angeles- The Coalition for a Better Community (CBC) 31 will hold a community party in honor of Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 10 at 4:00 PM at the Filipino American Community of Los Angeles (FACLA), 1740 W. Temple St. Los Angeles, CA 90026.

This was announced by the CBC led by PANA President Rizalino Manuel. The chosen mother of the year is Julieta Mabolo, an outstanding mother and also a prominent community leader in Historic Filipinotown, Los Angeles.

The CBC Party is vying again for the coming FACLA elections on May 31 and has fielded a complete 15-person candidate slate.

The CBC respected the court decision and has lined up community projects for FACLA for the coming year 2009-2011.
