LOS ANGELES, November 2, 2008 –In less than two days California voters will vote on a proposed amendment to the constitution of the sate of California that would deny same sex couple the right to marry. Those in support of civil rights for all people are urging voters to vote NO on 8.
A No on 8 rally was held in Pershing Square this Sunday. With the latest polls showing the proposition may have a chance of passing, speakers urged people to work hard in the next two days to help get the NO 8 voters to the polls and defeat the proposition. Speakers included Diane Olson and Robin Tyler who were the original plaintiffs in the marriage equality law suit.
