Congress is NOT listening - No Bailouts at all !

by sidestepper Friday, Oct. 03, 2008 at 10:20 PM

How many times and how many of us have to repeat for Congress to hear [not that they listen apparently ] "NO BAILOUTS, FOR ANYONE please !!! " Let everyone learn and pay their OWN bills and not gamble with our taxes.

No, I have not changed my mind, no one is bribing me here.

NO BAILOUTS, FOR ANYONE please !!!

This mistaken generation thinks they are ENTITLED to obtaining credit if they want it, name it for ‘education’ [that must be given for sure, they say or assume ] and to buy ‘necessities’ like a newer car, bigger house, up-fashioned clothes [to keep up with coworkers] and even fast-food purchases and more.

They are NOT.

Because we all have been sold on using more and more credit, having cards sent to us whether we even recognize the financial co. name or not, and offers of gifts to please buy on credit, we have been FOOLED, if we believed it, any of it.We have also been lied to about our Social Security being better in 401K, which were assuredly just as safe and sane and even better than any regulated and robbed federally run program

Excuse me ? what happened to that idea now that everyone is asking “ohhhhhh....what “

happened to my stock invested monies now ?

Those who did not and do not now THINK about what they are told, what they may want to do based on rational [vs. automatic compliance & conformity] calculations are now begging us to please save them from their own stoooopidity.

Yes it is stupid to act on your finances without thinking long & hard about what is better and not putting it all in one location [stocks for instance] or purchases to live higher [for another].

NO, I have not changed my mind at all, NO BAILOUTS, FOR ANYONE please !!!

not financial gangsters, not greedy banks, not stock gamblers, not poor people who could not afford houses they knew they could not afford in the future but pretended to themselves they would if the gamble would be a ‘win’.

I heard that gallup poll said 70% said NO to bill, only 20% saying yes, and then OUR non-representatives are still trying to pass it, doing CONTRARY to what we want ?

What does this mean about our congress listening to anyone else besides their lobbyists & revolving door buddies ? And when we could not send emails to Congress yesterday because their ‘computers may crash” we wondered if the congress itself had crashed behind it’s closed doors....they didnt want any more communications...dont tell us they dont have computer & phone capacity, please ! We pay for these services to have audible e-access, and they say, no more ??? huh???

Prudence vs. greed.

Thought-fullness vs. automatic purchasing habits. Questions vs. obedience.

Yep....and there are 3rd options but these categories seems useful to ponder on for now.

NO BAILOUTS, FOR ANYONE please !!!
