meeting on July 31 at 7 pm [see Indymedia calendar also] at radio station KPFK
for those who want to improve station
This is the 4th meeting for KPFK people interested in being part of the Community Advisory Board at KPFK.
Only those who are genuinely interested in helping Improve the station and it's functioning should attend. Not to complain or vent or accuse, but to form a group that may be helpful to the station.
Please join in only if you have a serious interest in doing some good for KPFK.
Meeting is 2 hrs only.

For two weeks, Jim Lafferty hasn't been on his usual Lawyers Guild program at 7 p.m. on Thursdays.
Rumors are flying that he was upset with the new general manager deal and that the gang of three, Grace, Lila, and Ian through the new Pacifica g.m. not only forced him out as interim GM but off the schedule too.
As usual, hard information at KPFK is impossible to get.
If there is any truth to this, and his program not continuing. Kpfk has one irate former listener sponsor here.
