I hate to say it but I do believe that this
: injustice that our US judicial system has
: been inflicting on the thousands of poor and
: mostly uneducated prison inmates with
: prolonged incarceration, is a very
: realistic human rights violation if not a
: crime against humanity issue. The
: International World Court and United Nations
: should be investigating why wealthy
: Americans are able to receive federal
: retrials using proper legal representation
: and US poor prison inmates are forced to be
: their own best lawyers from prison and
: failing in mass at their opportunities for
: federal retrial reviews. Our judicial system
: just recently released 360 men who spent 25
: to 40 years being incarcerated for rapes
: they never committed! Had these judicial
: victims been given appeal attorneys for
: their federal appeal reviews, just maybe
: they might have been given retrials and not
: have had to wait until DNA evidence
: exonerated them decades later. Until our
: judicial system becomes so perfected to
: always accurately charge and convict the
: right individuals with crimes,we all have to
: stay focused on preserving every legal
: opportunity for the truly innocent to be
: able to rise up and out of our cold hearted
: prison system that treats everyone in their
: grasp as guilty equals.

Glad that this type of injustice has been brought to the public's attention. We can no longer only pretend to offer justice, this country has to begin to reinvest in our judicial system to make sure everyone has fair and just opportunities in being able to defend themselves in our courts.
.....if the 'god' that Douglas Field pretends to worship gets red in the face when monsters like Robert Mugabe burn to death the wives of their political opponents.....I doubt if Douglas Field does or even gives a big rat's ass
I agree that the cost of defending ones self with lawyers in our country has gotten so high that maybe there are many middle class and working poor Americans who have to cop a plea for crimes they never were involved in. It also would not surprise me if there were many innocent in our US prisons who might be able to free themselves if they were given appeal lawyers. The figures that are being mentioned as to the innocent in American prisons seems very high, but since we have over 2 million people behind bars nationwide, the 4 or 5 % that are innocent would run into big numbers.
