Killtown: discredited 9/11 researcher under attack

by Jason Wright Friday, May. 16, 2008 at 12:16 PM

During his six year stint as a 911 researcher, "Killtown" has found fame, some say infamy, over his Shanksville research, the most controversial portion being his assertion Valencia McClatchey's photo, "the End of Serenity", is a fake.

The 911 "researcher" known as "Killtown" has come under multiple attacks in the last couple of months. During his six year stint as a 911 researcher, "Killtown" has found fame, some say infamy, over his Shanksville research, the most controversial portion being his assertion Valencia McClatchey's photo, "the End of Serenity", is a fake.

From the Loose Change forum he posts regularly at:

"And if any of you skeptics would like to try to debunk my photo analysis that shows two things:

1) Plume originated from different location and closer to Val's house
2) The photo is fake "

What has caused Killtown to fall out of favor in the 911 Truth Movement is his insinuations that that McClatchey herself someone manipulated the photo herself, as well as accusation's her selling copies of the photo at reasonable market rates is somehow profiting off the deaths of those lost on 911. AsKilltown write in his blog Flight 911 Photo Fraud:

"So will Val give all this to charity, because she's not in it for the money, right?"

Unsurprisingly McClatchey disputes Killtown characterizations of herself and her photo:

"Mrs. McClatchey was taken aback by the personal criticism by those who, she said, "hide behind their aliases.""

"This Killtown, whoever he may be, I find it very disturbing that this is a 16-page attack on me personally," said Mrs. McClatchey, who opened her real estate company a year and a half ago. "My business is named. That hurts me personally. It's pretty disturbing. My whole life is out there, a map to where I live, a map to my office. It's a safety issue for me. There's some crazy people out there."

A revealing quote, written by Killtown himself in this post:

"- The narrator then says Val says 9/11 conspiracists have "harassed her" with emails and phone calls. I've never contacted Val by any method ever. "

Some see this as tacit admission, contrary to Killtown's claim that he did contact McClatchey, as he was not named by either McClatchey or the narrator but assumes he is being included in the narrator's statement.

Unfortunately for Killtown the record does not put him in good light. At his own forum, 911 movement, he makes a regular habit of attacking individuals in similar ways with or without evidence, whether inside or outside of the self proclaimed Truth movement:

By Killtown's own admission his actions have resulted in his banning from several websites and forum's:

(NOTE: this seems to have been rescinded at the new LC forum)
Randi Rhodes forum

Here are a couple of comments from Killtown's former associates:

Craig Ranke : "Stop using this as an excuse to associate yourself with us Killtown otherwise we'll be forced to keep reiterating how we are against your BS and don't trust you as far as we can spit."

CitizenPawn: "And Killtown, I liked you before , but I'm not digging you right now dude. Stop your bullshit of slander without proof. Just because this is your forum, you have no right ...CONSCIOUSLY or LEGALLY do accuse someone of murder without evidence. That shit is what "WEARECHANGE" does. You want to go that route, fine.

But it's becoming bullshit and I'll call you on it. You're starting to ramp up your rhetoric a lot lately bro. You are acting suspicious. Don't be that guy."

Recently Killtown was a guest at BlogTalk radio but the program, while recorded, was pulled from the archives as this email explains:

"You agree not to post, upload, transmit to, or cause to be broadcasted via the Site or to BlogTalkRadio's servers, through data upload or broadcasting of audio content, any sound recordings, communications, text, graphics or other information (collectively, "Material") that:

1. is obscene, indecent, offensive, libelous, pornographic, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, defamatory, unreasonably violent, threatening, intimidating or harassing;
2. contains falsehoods or misrepresentations that could damage BlogTalkRadio or any other person; "

Given Killtown's ample recorded history of falsehoods and representations this comes as no surprise. Nonetheless, Killtown continues to paint himself as a victim of censorship.

Unfortunately the Internet community is not buying it. A group of people have apparently gotten together to produce a blog called "Killtown's Secret Archive" and they are not fans:

The blog makes a convincing case that "Killtown" is a resident of Portland, Oregon and has connections to Portland's 911 Truth community. Their position is that because of Killtown's habit of attacking people online he deserves to be exposed.

What will happen to "Killtown" from here is uncertain, though it is sure his status in the Internet community has taken a permanent hit. Many wonder if we expect future legal action against Killtown. Killtown's first victim, Valencia McClatchey, has this to say:

19937@kdka.dayport.com" rel="nofollow">http://kdka.com/video/?id=19937@kdka.dayport.com

Says, McClatchey: "Until I have his identity he gets away with it."
