Southern California Tibetan Community and Supporter groups condemn recent killing and brutal crackdown of peaceful tibetan demonstrators in Tibet.

Communist China invades Tibet in 1949 and gradually occupied Tibet. On March 10th, 1959 historic Tibetan National Uprising movement started demanding China to Leave TIBET. However the communist china brutally crackdown the Tibetan national Uprising Movement and killed thousands of Tibetans. Since then China killed 1.2 millions Tibetans. China had destroyed more than six thousands Monasteries. Since 1959 Tibet remains an occupied part of china.

In the last few days thousands of monks, nuns, and lay Tibetans put their lives on the line by protesting against Chinese rule in Tibet. Hundreds have reportedly been killed. Despite knowing the grim outcome the protest spread widely into different parts of Tibet, including universities and major monasteries.

We strongly condemn Chinese regime for such inhuman action. We appeal representative from international organizations to investigate the real cause of the protests and actual situation in Tibet.

• We demand Chinese regime to immediately stop illegal and rampant killing of peaceful demonstrator in Tibet and immediately release all political and religious prisoners in Tibet.
• We also demand Chinese regime to release Panchen Lama, the youngest Tibetan religious prisoner in the world.
• We demand Chinese regime to immediately release Rugye Ada and all others that were imprisoned for expressing their views in August 2007. This clearly shows abuse of freedom of expression in Tibet. We appeal international court of Justice to investigate this incident.
• We demand Chinese regime to respect human right in Tibet, China, Sudan, Burma, and across the world. We demand to china to stop selling weapons in Sudan.
• We demand Chinese regime to improve cultural and religious freedom in Tibet
• We demand Chinese regime to immediately stop population transfer and ethnic cleansing policy in TIBET.
• We appeal American brothers and sisters to boycott 2008 Olympic in Beijing.

China clearly do not deserve to host 2008 Olympic game. China is doing what is contrary to the principles of Olympic spirit, i.e., democracy, freedom and respect for human rights. We appeal American brothers and sisters to boycott the Beijing 2008 Olympic game. We request the whole world to support the TRUTH and the TRUTH is the TIBET was an independent country and China should leave TIBET now.

Major events around the Globe:
Return March to Tibet: One hundred marchers will be leaving Dharamsala on March 10th for six months duration and are expected to arrive at Tibet’s border on the eve of the Olympics opening ceremonies in Beijing on August 8th, 2008. It is organized by the Tibetan Youth Congress, Tibetan Women’s Association, Gu-Chu-Sum ex-political prisoners’ movement, National Democratic Party of Tibet and SFT India. www.TibetanUprising.org
Tibetan Freedom Torch: A Tibetan freedom torch was lit in Mt.Olympia, Greece as a symbol of the true spirit and meaning of the Olympic. It will travel around 50 cities worldwide to shed light on Chinese Human Rights abuses and atrocities in Tibet. The freedom torch relay will pass through Los Angles on April 15th 2008. www.TibetanFreedomTorch.org
China’s Torch Relay: China’s Olympic torch relay will be passing through Tibet, and to the top of Mt.Everest passing London, Paris, SF and Delhi. China is using the Olympics to gain Global acceptance and to legitimize its rule in Tibet. The torch will reach San Francisco on April 9th, Tibetans and supporters from all over the US will be there to protest. Supporters are requested to join.
For more information on events planned on April 8th and 9th at SF.

As the wheel turns

by Hajitan Friday, Mar. 21, 2008 at 2:19 AM

I wrote some comments on Tibet to The Times recently, which were categorically rejected, out of respect for the Tibetans presumably, since I am sharp. What they forgot and what I didn't want to mention is that I am a Tibetan, and know everything of Tibet - historically - probably even better than the Dalai Lama. The Times are too conservative, with their sentimental approach, and it is a real blasphemy to see what nonsense they accept - all friendly comments - yes, ladies! Fidel Castro is condemned as a fascist, but now that the peaceful Tibetans are rising up, they get sentimental and we all have to cry. A real doublemindedness is revealed, as if it is not generally understood that the suppression of Tibet cannot keep being met with the archetypal, apologetic Mongolian smiles - our eyes are slanted that way, it is said, but we can still see - as to make The Times cry. Also the Irish, and others, are always very quick to manoeuvre the Tibetans before their own cause, as if they were not the typecast cruelty formerly of - now against - the British, as the wheel turns. May Maitreya save us. We are only a pretext. Keep smiling. The Times, they are changing.

Plan

by Bud Saturday, Mar. 22, 2008 at 3:35 AM

Many people await and expect the emergence of Maitreya but hold a very distorted view of how that will affect humanity. Many await Him as a Spiritual Magician Who will cancel out their and others’ shortcomings, and so establish everlasting peace. Theirs is a very passive view of this vast and complex happening. For Maitreya, Himself, it is an opportunity to come into a dynamic interaction with humanity, to establish the Principles of the Divine Plan, and to inaugurate the era of Right Human Relationship.
