Curious

by @ Saturday, May. 19, 2007 at 1:16 PM

How did you determine that the guy in the photo labeled "Undercover" was an undercover cop? How did you come to that conclusion?

No

by X Sunday, May. 20, 2007 at 6:32 PM

I was once mistaken as a cop due to my age. I'm not a cop. That is why I am glad @ is asking. A lot of assumptions go into who is a cop and who is not. From my personal experience finding infiltrators, the cops usually pick people who fit in very well to be undercovers. If someone sticks out, they may not be an undercover.

I've outed undercovers who were very young and hip. Also, consider the infiltrator "Anna" outed recently. She didn't look like a cop.

I'm also curious.

by Secret Shopper Monday, May. 21, 2007 at 1:16 AM

I'm also curious as to how we're supposed to know that the people pictured are undercover agents. Is there some dress code in activism that I wasn't aware of, or an age limit? Maybe I'm missing something (seriously...like an ill-concealed weapon, radio, or badge), in which case I would appreciate somebody pointing it out.

Undercover Pigs

by TruthBTold Monday, May. 21, 2007 at 1:01 PM

Its very simple to spot an undercover pig. I am not an idiot, therefore, I will not be baited into answering a question such as, "How do you know they're undercover?". But there are quite a few things to look for.
Just in these pictures alone, the 2 wearing bandana's are so damn obvious! For one, notice how incredibly new the bandana's are. Look closely at the sunglasses, they are surfer-brand shades. No activist in our movement would be caught with those on! The backpacks they are wearing are not only brand new, but of a variety not worn by "anarchists" or activists.
Come on people! Wake up!
And do not be fooled by narks on this board asking stupid baited questions!

Undercover

by johnk Monday, May. 21, 2007 at 1:27 PM

I think some undercovers want to be spotted, to cover for their real undercover ops.

List of approved backpacks, please?

by Secret Shopper Wednesday, May. 23, 2007 at 6:02 PM

I was just wondering if somebody could supply me with a list of approved backpacks for street activism. A list of acceptable sunglasses would be appreciated as well. Thank you.

answer

by Answerer Saturday, Jun. 16, 2007 at 1:57 PM

Any clothing will do. Its just having style.

Watching these pics of hopeless undercovers are funny. How brave..
A tactic to make their presence less fun is to mark them. Pig stickers. Or just paint.
