Youth Justice Coalition and QTeam speak at the Macarthur Park rally against police brutality, for immigrant rights, on May 17th 2007.

At tonight's march down Wilshire and rally at Macarthur park, the most radical voices given the microphone were the Youth Justice Coalition and Qteam. Here's the audio of YJC and Qteam speaking from the stage at the Park:

YJC demands include:

- drop all charges against people from Mayday. No one is guilty of anything but self defense.
- villaraigosa and the city council and police commission have to punish the cops responsible.

YJC: The police attacked us on Mayday. We're here again tonight to show the LAPD that we're not scared and we demand respect! Our voices will not be silenced!

Qteam: Qteam is a youth of color radical grassroots multi issue organizing collective in LA. Qteam believes in the liberation of all people. And the end of all forms of oppression, poverty, patriarchy, racism colonization and imperialism and criminalization. Creating a safe political and physical space for queer and trans youth of color to live free of homophobia, transfobia, police brutality, and discrimination. Queer, trans, youth, immigrants, and anarchists, will not be blamed for the police brutality on May 1st, and will not be silenced!
