What a couple of hypocrites...one of them (Villaraigosa) could not wait to get out of the county to avoid being at march May 1 and the one (Núñez) never misses a chance to kiss Arnold's butt and go on vacations paid for by oil companies.

THIS WAS AN LAPD (COMING POLICE STATE) PARAMILITARY URBAN EXCERCISE.

WHAT THE U.S. GOVERNMENT HAS SPONSORED OR SUPPORTED BEFORE IN LATIN AMERICA IS COMING TO THE UNITED STATES.

THIS LAPD RIOT WAS *NOT* "JUST SOMETHING THAT WENT HAYWIRE" -- OR "THE LAPD OUT OF CONTROL".

IT WAS A *PREMEDITATED*, *FULLY -COORDINATED*, *PRE-PLANNED* ATTACK ON THE PEOPLE -- EVEN ATTACKING THE MEDIA -- INVOLVING MANY 100'S OF PARAMILITARY COPS & SWAT TEAMS ON FOOT, ON MOTORCYCLES, IN VEHICLES, AND IN HELICOPTERS -- ALL IN RADIO AND VIDEO COMMUNICATIONS WITH THEIR COMMAND CENTERS.

I agree that the LAPD attack was most likely planned and premeditated. Police just don't show up with that kind of gear unless they plan to use it. However ... it's absurd to think that they planned to attack the corporate media. That was clearly a mistake and a deviation from their plan. Media and spin control is now at the top of the list of every mass police and military action, the top planners and strategists consider it another - in some ways, the most important - element of warfare. Also: to be honest, it's kind of an exaggeration to say that there were '100s' of police involved. However, the important point is that we shouldn't let them spin this as an 'unfortunate mistake,' it is much more likely that they planned to clear the park from well before Mayday.

THERE WAS A WAR GOING ON THEN TOO. ONE OVERSEAS AND ONE AGAINST *ANY* DISSENT IN THIS COUNTRY. THE PIGS TOOK THEIR CUE FROM THE GOVT AND THE WAR OVERSEAS.

"SPIN CONTROL" IS STILL BEING MAINTAINED. THE MAIN CORP MEDIA STILL TALKS ABOUT THE COPS BEING "PROVOKED BY SOME IN THE CROWD".

THE CORP MEDIA STILL SYMPATHETICALLY PORTRAYS THE CHIEF AS THE BELEAGUERED PUBLIC BACKLASH VICTIM OF "OUT OF CONTROL" COPS.

YOU'LL EVEN STILL HEAR THE MAIN CORP MEDIA SPIN THE OLD "JUST A FEW BAD APPLES" LINE ABOUT THE COPS -- ALTHOUGH NOW THE MEDIA WILL SAY "JUST A *RELATIVELY* FEW BAD APPLES" -- OR THAT "THE COPS WEREN'T TRAINED PROPERLY" AND GOT "OUT OF CONTROL".

THEY WERE TRAINED *QUITE* PROPERLY -- AND, AS YOU CAN SEE, THEY WERE *TOTALLY* IN CONTROL AT THE SCENE.

AND CORP JOURNALISTS ARE SO HIGHLY PAID (BASICALLY RICH) AND *BOURGEIOS* -- IN FACT AND IN THEIR THINKING -- THAT THEY MIGHT HAVE EVEN *BELIEVED* THAT THE COPS MERELY "GOT OUT OF CONTROL".

AT SOME POINT THE PIGS GET BOLD ENOUGH THAT THEY JUST DON'T CARE IF THEY GO BEYOND JUST CLUBBING, BEATING UP OR SHOOTING *ONLY* BLACK AND BROWN PEOPLE.

AND THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WHITE PEOPLE THINK THAT IT'S OKAY TO JUST SIT BACK AT HOME AND BE PASSIVE WHEN ONLY BLACK AND BROWN PEOPLE ARE CLUBBED, BEATEN AND/OR SHOT BY THE PIGS.

AT SOME POINT THOSE RUBBER BULLETS WILL BECOME **RUBBER-COATED** STEAL BULLETS (they have such things) AND THEN WILL BECOME REGULAR BULLETS -- AND THEY WILL BE AIMED AT *ANYONE* WHO DISSENTS.

U.S. POLITICAL, CAPITALIST & MILITARY HEGEMONY IS UNDER POLITICAL ATTACK ALL OVER LATIN AMERICAS AND ALL OVER THE WORLD. YOU DON'T THINK THAT THE GOVT NOTICES THAT?

WHAT? YOU THINK THERE WERE JUST 50 OR 75 OR SO "OUT OF CONTROL", "ROGUE COPS" OUT THERE?

AT ANY MAJOR DEMONSTRATION YOU GO TO IN CALIFORNIA, IF YOU WERE TO LOOK AROUND, THE PIGS HAVE THE **REALLY MEAN** PARAMILITARY 'SPECIAL FORCES' FULLY-ARMED SWAT TEAM RIOT SQUAD HELD BACK AND SEMI-HIDDEN A FEW BLOCKS OVER SOMEWHERE.

THEY'RE USUALLY HIDDEN BETWEEN A ROW OF THEIR SPECIAL BUSES, OR A ROW OF THEIR BUSES AND A WALL, IN SOME NEARBY PARKING LOT A FEW BLOCKS OVER OUT OF STRAIGHTLINE SIGHT.

IN CALIFORNIA THEY USED TO BE CALLED "THE BLUE MEANIES". NOW THEY RIDE AROUND IN UNMARKED BLACK CARS/SUVS WITH BLACK SMOKED WINDOWS. --AND THEY DON'T CARRY RUBBER BULLETS.

AND WHAT HAS THE *GOVERNATOR* SAID ABOUT THIS? HE'S BEEN *SILENT*.
