Spread the word! Stick it to the Oil-agarchy on May 15th. No more blood for oil.
Don't pump gas on Tuesday, May 15th! In April, 1997, there was a "gas out" conducted nationwide in protest of gas prices. Gasoline prices dropped 30 cents a gallon overnight. On May 15th, word is out not to go to a gas station and pump gas in protest of high gas prices. Gas is now well over $3.00 a gallon, and the oil companies are reporting record-breaking profits. (Which is what the War on Iraq is all about, in case you hadn’t realized that by now.)
There are 73,000,000+ Americans currently on the Internet, and the average car takes about $30-$50 to fill up. If all users do not go to the pump on the 15th, it would take $2,292,000,000 (that's over $TWO BILLION) out of the oil companies’ pockets for just one day, so please do not go to the gas station on May 15th, and let’s try to put a dent in the Oil Cartel for at least one day.

The only method that will truly work would be if everyone boycotted a specific gas company for a month. For example for the month of June Speedway gets the boycott and no one buys gas at any Speedway location, July BP Amoco gets the boycott, August, Shell gets the boycott, Sept. Marathon, Oct. Citgo and so on..... I really believe if we put this boycott together correctly and got media attention gas price will plummet. This no gas day will just force more people to the pump the day prior and the day after. You have to start hurting "big oil" like they are hurting us, in the wallet and one at a time. Mark my words it will work!!!!!! Roger D. Lis Culinary Arts Thornridge High School Lis.roger @district205.net
