The weird thing is, the cops don't even look like they know what they're doing or why. I've seen football hooligans that look more organised.
This was some petty bureaucrat's sloppy test run. This can still be stopped before it turns in to real fascism.

This incident was provoked by the LAPD. Beginning with the fact that the streets were not properly closed down and the march was not given the proper street permits is asking for trouble. Furthermore, as an eyewitness of the initial attacks against the people who were peacefully marching (I was just trying to get into the park when a pig pushed me then hit me with his batton!), it was the LAPD who began to strike people with their battons and rev their motorcycles to intimidate people. The idea that it was gangsters provoking stuff is absolutely wrong...get the facts straight!

The Los Angeles Police. Exactly how are these scumbags any different than the other violent crooks out there who they're supposedly protecting us from?
Good fucking grief. This is what Republicanism has done to America.

The video opens with the video guy announcing that the helicopter is telling everyone to leave the park. Then everyone stands around waiting for the cops for twenty minutes. How is that brutality? the order to disperse was heard and then ignored. How could the people in the video blame anyone besides themselves for what follows?

The order to disperse was not a lawful order. It contravenes the 1st amendment. The LAPD had no right ti issue such orders. There was no public safety issue until the LAPD went off w/o provocation.

What do you mean it is not a lawful order? Welcome to America buddy! There are laws to follow. You can not just go around doing what you want all the time. When the police tells you to do something, that is a direct order and you are to follow it. Plain and simple. If they can not understand that then something is wrong.

You go find a law that states 'peaceful assembly and the right to protest' as illegal... Post it for us please.

IF NO HIGH LAPD HEADS ROLL -- IF NO HIGHER UPS GETS FIRED -- OVER THE LAPD POLICE RIOT, THEN YOU *KNOW* IT WAS PREMEDITATED, OKAYED, AND PRE-PLANNED.
