"Despite our emphasis on dire environmental issues, pedestrians expressed interest in our signs concerning war victims."

This week's Highland Park vigil focused on Earth Day, with signs reminding people about the threat of global warming, alternative energy, and promoting the book Ecotopia by Ernest Callenbach (a favorite among many NelaRad).
Also, Jennifer Murphy contributed a hat with "solar panels" on the front and a "biodiesel-powered car" on the back.
Despite our emphasis on dire environmental issues, pedestrians expressed interest in our signs concerning war victims, which we display every week regardless of our theme.

This sign is 4 1/2 years old, and we hope to redo it soon.

That's some great art on those posters. Shows much love. Of our earth. Of our human family.
