"We come here today to honor an individual who mirrors those ideals held near to thousands of military families...MILITARY FAMILIES...who worry about their sons, their daughters, their husbands, their wives, their sisters and brothers, their mothers and fathers, their aunts and uncles, their cousins, their grandmothers and grandfathers, their granddaughters and grandson....who are stationed in Iraq...IRAQ!!! Where over 3,100 United States soldiers have died! IRAQ!!!!...Where over 655,000 Iraqi civilians have died....and FOR WHAT??? WHY???

These military families are speaking out. They ask, "WHEN WILL THIS INSANE WAR END??? Why are our cries being ignored? Why has CONGRESS turned a deaf ear to OUR plight? Why isn't the American public listening to our PLEA?"

"OUR PLEA! THE MILITARY FAMILIES SPEAK OUT PLEA!!!....SUPPORT OUR TROOPS!...Those U.S. troops are OUR family members!"

"BRING THEM HOME NOW!!...Not tomorrow....not three months from now...and certainly NOT in 2008!!! NOW!!!!"

"OUR PLEA! TAKE CARE OF OUR TROOPS, OUR FAMILY MEMBERS, WHEN THEY GET HOME!...to NOT cut funding of Veteran's benefits, but to take care of Veterans...OUR FAMILY MEMBERS...who are returning from this ILLEGAL WAR with both physical and mental disabilities!!!!!"

Congressman Dennis Kucinich...YOU are listening to the PLEA of Military Families Speak Out!....You are listening to the PLEA of Iraq Veterans....You are listening to the PLEA of WE, THE PEOPLE!!!..

You, Congressman Kucinich, boldly stand before Congress...the IGNORING Congress...and plead our case....SUPPORT OUR TROOPS! BRING THEM HOME NOW!...AND TAKE CARE OF THEM WHEN THEY GET HERE!!!

You have stood before Congress and boldly called for DEFUNDING the Iraq war.

You have stood before Congress and DEMANDED a COMPLETE U.S. troop withdrawal from Iraq.

You have stood before Congress and DEMANDED closure of all U.S. bases in Iraq.

You have stood before Congress and DEMANDED a COMPLETE U.S. troop withdrawal from Iraq.

You have stood before Congress and asked for the international community to create a PEACE PLAN for Iraq.

You have stood before Congress and proposed a United States Department of PEACE!

....And for this, Congressman Kucinich, we thank you!

...Congressman Dennis Kucinich, on behalf of Military Families Speak out, and as a Citizen for World Peace, it is an honor to present to you this award....CHAMPION FOR PEACE...for all that you do in the name of PEACE....Congratulations!

Democrats Are Pro-War Party Too

by ( Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007 at 9:27 PM

The Democratic Party is a pro-war party, the same as the Republicans. Anti-abortion Kucinich (who suddenly became the phony "pro choice" when running for president) has absolutely nothing to offer and is running now, the same as before, to destroy the peace movement by funneling the peace movement to whatever pro-war Democrat is nominated. In the excellent World Socialist Website article: "Congressional Democrats rule out Iraq war fund cutoff" by Patrick Martin at
http://www.wsws.org/articles/2007/feb2007/dems-f27.shtml
it is clear that the Democrats are not about to cut off funding the war. They only disagree on strategy, at the most, but not the existence of blood for oil wars.

Dennis Kucinich Opposes Mumia Abu-Jamal

by ( Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007 at 8:01 AM

Dennis Kucinich voted for House Resolution 1082 , Roll Call 527, on December 6, 2006 to condemn the city of St. Denis, France for naming a street for Mumia Abu-Jamal, effectively supporting the death penalty for Mumia. See http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2006/roll527.xml The vote was 368 yes to 31 no.
If you want to vote for supporters of Mumia Abu-Jamal, opponents of prisons and the death penalty, supproters of peace, you have to vote socialist Peace & Freedom Party or the Green Party.

Mr.

by Colin Tuesday, Jul. 24, 2007 at 10:10 AM

We all need to do our part to demand peace now. Texting the word PEACE, from any mobile phone, to the number 73223, the numeric spelling for peace, instantly links users to a network of Americans who believe that withdrawing from Iraq is the best way to bring peace to the region. I agree with gulf war veteran Mike Klein. “The goal is to create a peace chain where everyone who believes in peace texts five people and asks them to text 5 more people who stand for peace. Text peace is set to sweep the country and will be too powerful even Bush to ignore. ” Kucinich will deliver these messages to President Bush. Text for Peace now!

this guy is just one more player of words to sooth the herd.
No real answer. Look at the handler they got him. Very pretty. We all should be so lucky and well attended. These ruling class rat bastards have nothing but lies and soothing words as they feast upon our collective.
