10:35 am One counter-protester has been arrested. No details. Caller reports SOS/MM surrounded on 3 sides.

10:25 am: Close to 200 counters there now. About 100 SOS-Minutemen are demonstrating behind a police barricade. Police have put themselves between SOS/MM and counters. Police are protecting Minutemen cars in a parking lot some blocks away and escorting them into protest pen.

10:00 am: SOS/MM have arrived there are about 50 SOS/MM Counters number about 150. Counter-protesters hung an effigy of a Klansman from a telephone wire. It has been removed by the police.

9:20 am: About 15 Counter-protesters arrived at Maywood City Hall. No Minutemen(SOS/MM) seen.

10:50 am Police have arrested one demonstrator on the SOS/MM side for crossing line to provoke counters

Update: 200 counters there now. 100 SOS-MM in protest pen. Reports of counters throwing eggs at SOS-MM.

12:15 pm Protest continuing. Many local PD there in riot gear. In addition to Maywood PD there is Whittier, Bell Gardens, Montebello, LA County Sheriff and others. Numerous under-covers also reported at the scene.

1:45 pm Reports of another arrest. Heavy Police presence at Fishburn & Slauson.

2:00 pm Police are escorting SOS-MM back to their cars. Some counters are attempting intervene. Police are pushing counters back at Fishburn. Caller reports police are using their batons.

2:45 pm Protest winding down. SOS-MM are gone. Slauson reopened.

Total of three arrests reported, two counters, one minuteman.
