Keys for an effective boycott of Israel
I understand that you are ticked off at Israel, and in lovewith the Palestinians. That's fine with me, as long as you have truly weighedup all the facts.
So, you want to boycott Israel? If you are doing it - do it properly. Let me help you.
Check all your medications. Make sure that you do not have tablets, drops, lotions, etc., made by Abic or Teva. It may mean that you will suffer from colds and flu this winter but, hey, that's a small price for you to pay in your campaign against Israel, isn't it?
While we are on the subject of your Israeli boycott, and the medical contributions to the world made by Israeli doctors and scientists, how about telling your pals to boycott the following.....
An Israeli company has developed a simple blood test that distinguishes between mild and more severe cases of Multiple Sclerosis. So, if you know anyone suffering from MS, tell them to ignore the Israeli patent that may, more accurately, diagnose their symptom.
An Israeli-made device helps restore the use of paralyzed hands. This device electrically stimulates the hand muscles, providing hope to millions of stroke sufferers and victims of spinal injuries. If you wish to remove this hope of a better quality of life to these people, go ahead and boycott Israel.
Young children with breathing problems will soon be sleeping more soundly, thanks to a new Israeli device called the Child Hood. This innovation replaces the inhalation mask with an improved drug delivery system that provides relief for child and parent. Please tell anxious mothers that they shouldn't use this device because of your passionate cause.
These are just a few examples of how people have benefited medically from the Israeli know-how you wish to block. Boycotts often affect research. A new research center in Israel hopes to throw light on brain disorders such as depression and Alzheimer's disease. The Joseph Sangol Neuroscience Center in the Sheba Medical Center at Tel HaShomer Hospital, aims to bring thousands of scientists and doctors to focus on brain research.
A researcher at Israel's Ben Gurion University has succeeded in creating human monoclonal antibodies which can neutralize the highly contagious smallpox virus without inducing the dangerous side effects of the existing vaccine.
Two Israelis received the 2004 Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Doctors Ciechanover and Hershko's research and discovery of one of the human cells most important cyclical processes will lead the way to DNA repair, control of newly produced proteins, and immune defense systems.
The Movement Disorder Surgery program at Israel's Hadassah Medical Center has successfully eliminated the physical manifestations of Parkinson's disease in a select group of patients with a deep brain stimulation technique. For women who undergo hysterectomies each year for the treatment of uterine fibroids, the development in Israel of the Ex Ablate 2000 System is a welcome breakthrough, offering a noninvasive alternative to surgery.
Israel is developing a nose drop that will provide a five year flu vaccine. These are just a few of the projects that you can help stop with your Israeli boycott.
But let's not get too obsessed with my ducal research, there are other ways you can make a personal sacrifice with your anti-Israel boycott. Most of Windows operating systems were developed by Microsoft-Israel. So, set a personal example. Throw away your computer! Computers should have a sign attached saying Israel Inside. The Pentium NMX Chip technology was designed at Intel in Israel. Both the Pentium 4 microprocessor and the Centrum processor were entirely designed, developed, and produced in Israel. Voice mail technology was developed in Israel. The technology for the AOL Instant Messenger ICQ was developed in 1996 in Israel by four young Israelis.
Both Microsoft and Cisco built their only R. & D. facilities outside the US in Israel. So, due to your complete boycott of anything Israeli, you now have poor health and no computer.
But your bad news does not end there. Get rid of your cellular phone. Cell phone technology was also developed in Israel by MOTOROLA which has its biggest development center in Israel. Most of the latest technology in your mobile phone was developed by Israeli scientists.

Boycott? There should be a immediate investigation of all dual citizen, Israeli personnel in the current administration. End all military and financial, forgiven debts etc. assistance for Israel. Then sanctions. Until they act like something other than a dangerous rogue nuclear state. They are the only real threat to world peace in the middle east. We should stop enabling this death and terror from Israel.

Here's another choice. The Israeli interlopers and butchers should also stand in the docket while their savings, personal property and all other gains made through occupation are resolved into a general treasury to provide compensation the the remaining refugees the Zionists keep in exile when they are welcomed back to their homes. I think sanctions will do it.

Its easier than ever in California to get Israeli goods. Israeli cheese, chocolates, and teas are easily available, not only in the natural food stores, but in the large grocery chains as well. And with Internet shopping, its easier than ever to get Israeli products such as original art, leather goods, etc. Many local communities have been organizing Israeli art fairs, too. I was just given an Amos Amit batik, from one of the local fairs. The more you push, the more we push back. Bring it on. I can eat an awful lot of Israeli chocolate. (Did I mention it was organic free trade and vegan?)

The nice thing about falafel for those who like it is that it's vegan too. If I had run an Israeli houmous outlet in Manhattan, I'd be sending some of the "proceeds" back to Israel to support the victims of the murderous bloodsoaked genocide attempts known as the intifada.

Its vegan and its delicious- but many of the places here just stuff the pita with American style salad- not Isralei salad, so its not the same ... There are some Israeli mixes available here- of course, not as good.. I actually bought a meat grinder attachment for my food processor to try and make falafel at home- they never hold together well. Oh, well.
As you can imagine , my group goes through a lot of israeli flags- not a problem- we buy them from Israel.
Its a small thing we can do, but its important. I'll be serving a variety of Israeli teas and biscuits at the Oct.28th rally, incidently .

Remember how comfortable the German Jews were in the 1930's? That changed pretty fast. As long as Israel exists, Jews throughout the world will have asafe haven.
"How's that? Because assholes like Abramoff who merely represent zionism's obvious TREASONOUS streak are alienating Americans like myself?"

BULLSHIT!
If that were really true.....
It is indeed true, for most American Zionists. Israel has shown its willingness to exchange land for peace over and over.
"You didn't get what you wanted in '48 (i.e. ALL OF IT)"
Israel agreed to the partiton plan- tiny non-contingous bits of land. The Arabs turned it down. You need to take your ginko, TW you are forgetting your history.
"Excuse me, the Palestinians aren't stupid! They see it clear as day! You're going to keep chewing away at them until they're just GONE, "
Yet their birthrate is among the highest in the world.
The main obstacle to that, of course, are the Palestinians."

Israeli children are targeted. When Palestinain children are killed, it is accidental and an investigation ensues. Most Palestinian "children" killed are older teenage boys. Child soldiers. Or shields, perhaps
We sure wont see any zionazis protesting the murder of these 'potential terrorists' and therefore is nothing to feel bad about.

TRIPOLI, Lebanon (AP) — Lebanese tanks pounded shells at a militant group’s headquarters in a Palestinian refugee camp next to the northern city of Tripoli on Sunday afternoon after hours of clashes that left 13 soldiers and several militants dead, along with dozens of wounded.
Security officials said 19 soldiers and 14 police officers were injured in the fighting, the worst violence to hit the northern city in two decades, and hundreds of Lebanese citizens could be seen applauding as the army shot into the refugee camp.
A spokesman for the Fatah Islam group, Abu Salim, said two militants were killed and five wounded inside the Nahr el-Bared Palestinian refugee camp. “Many houses have been destroyed,” he told The Associated Press by phone from inside the camp.
A senior security official said a high-ranking member of the Fatah Islam militant group, known as Abu Yazan, was among those killed. Security officials spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the issue.
Abu Salim said he had no information on the report, and denied the authenticity of a statement sent by fax to some news agencies that claimed the group would unleash massive violence if the army’s attack did not stop.

The zionists claim that Palestine belongs to them because their ancestors lived there thousands of years ago. There are two problems with this claim. The first problem is that the evidence it thin, to put it mildly, that European Jews are biological descendants of the tribes who lived there in ancient times. Most likely they are the descendants of Europeans who converted to Judaism during the early Middle Ages. The second problem is that even if Jews in the 20th century and the 21st century were descendants of ancient peoples who lived there, this would give them no claim to the land. Adolf Hitler claimed that one of the reasons why he had the right to invade and take possession of eastern Europe and Russia was that Germanic tribes had lived there many centuries ago. This claim is probably true, but I would like to assume that you zionists do not believe that this gave Hitler the right to launch his savage invasion, which cost the lives of tens of millions of people.Or perhaps you do agree with him, which would be one more link between zionism and Nazism.
