I for one will call Borders and state my lack of desire to shop there if they let a Minuteman sign books in there. Based on my experiences with the Minutemen, yeah obviously I'm not too fond of Borders. Not sure if it's the company or the locations that authorize this.

perhaps one way to stop this event is for someone to phone-in a phony bomb threat (joke). seriously though, maybe someone can pull the fire alarm right before gilchrist is scheduled to sign his books. i think that if the fire alarm is triggered, by law, the store has to be evacuated. just a thought. of course, if pulling the fire alarm is illegal, then no one should do it!

I wouldn't do that or suggest doing that. If I go, I'm just gonna bring a protest sign and remind people that they don't have to be pressured into supporting the Minutemen to avoid being called "anti-American." I may also bring my left over Minuteman shirt for another good ole shirt stompin'. Anyone is welcome to join in on that.

One a side note, an SOS member video taped the result of a fatal car crash in his home town. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=roB4CmXD0vU He actually put his own face speaking on the camera. This is the guy who gave a hitler salute as he drove off at Laguna Beach when concluding a protest against the day labor center. It seemed like it was done as a joke to the Anarchists but still, if you see him at any of the book signings, ask him why he would do that.
