Dear MySpace Minuteman Project Friends,
I will be shutting down this page as of 9/6/06. Many of you already know that I have been doing this for free since April when I created this site. I didnt mind doing it for free, since I firmly believe that closing our borders is the only way to save this country, but now things have changed. Over the last few months I have begun to loose faith, not in Jim Gilchrist, but in those that work under him that have forgotten the cause. Despite my loss of faith in the Project, I continued to run this page out of loyalty to all of you. However, now my husband is being slandered by certain members of the Minuteman Project who have also shown callousness in the injuries of our members and SOS members at the Maywood rally. Therefore I am starting a new page, where I can refer you all to EVERY rally that is happening, not just MMP rallies. This new site will be called Blue Collar Conservatives and can be found at [link to www.myspace.com]
Blue Collar Conservatives will deal with all of the issues important to the working man; illegal immigration, gun control, eminent domain, Jessicas Law, taxes, unions, wildlife and recreation, etc. I will no longer be censored, and we can now talk about candidates that are running on these issues that are close to our hearts. I encourage you all to join, and to continue to visit the main page for Minuteman Project at www.minutemanproject.com or to join the Minuteman Project support groups here on myspace.
Thank you all for your support over the last few months. I appreciate you all!
DJ Williams
Soon to no longer be the Myspace Site Manager for The Minuteman Project
Reasons fully explained:
Dear friends,
As many of you know I had resigned from the Minuteman Project just after the Minuteman Caravan in May. For the good of the cause, and a deep admiration for Mr. Jim Gilchrist, I kept my reasons for leaving quiet. I still believe that Jim Gilchrist is our best hope to bringing awareness and positive change to the Illegal immigration issue, but he must remove certain petty, greedy and childish members of the board of directors or he risks the survival of the project.
The Minuteman Project has become guilty of many of the same sins it has accused the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps of these many months.
It has withdrawn support from candidates like Tony Dolz and his assembly campaign because Tony attended MCDC events. Tony is running for Assembly because Jim asked him to.
It charges a registration/background check to participate in their border watch program. As of this date, no background checks have been performed on anyone except MMP political enemies. Many people that had paid their membership fee months ago have not received confirmation as of this date.
It has sacrificed the money for border watches on sending board members on the lecture/convention circuit. It also distastefully used ground zero as a location to sell Jims book.
It has not made its financial records public nor will it.
It is overly controlled by a traditional values Board of directors with unexplained ties to The Council of Concerned Citizens and other questionable groups. (google C of CC)
After putting many people of color on the board to deflect charges of racism, they absorb a Political Action Committee that includes Glenn Spencers American Border Patrol. (see wikipedia: Glenn Spencer)
It does not have non-profit status yet and no one can give a straight answer why not.
The majority of these bad decisions have been made by The Political Director, Deborah Courtney and the 19 year old Media Director, Tim Bueler. Deborah is notorious in The Orange County Republican Party for her schizophrenic behavior. Many Republican Party leaders and Minuteman friendly candidates have felt her knife in their back. Now that I no longer have any reason not to, I will be cooperating with these Victims and provide them the information they have requested.
Tim Bueler made a name for himself in high school by starting a Christian Conservative Club. If you do a web search for Tim you will find his quotes on killing Muslims, hate speech towards Gays and inflammatory statements about Latinos. You will also find a photo of Mr. Bueler with a shaved head and an anti gay t-shirt at a rally designed to harass and intimidate a campus minority club. Although Tim brags about enforcing the rule of law, it hasnt stopped his underage drinking in public or Deborah Courtney from buying him alcohol.
Deborah often uses Chris Simcoxs concealed weapons conviction as a reason MCDC cannot be trusted. This is hypocritical when you conceder that she was arrested for felony DUI and multiple concealed weapons charges. She got the most serious charges dropped after calling in a favor from a powerful member of the party (name withheld). Less than a year later Deborah was organizing a rumor campaign to unseat her benefactor from his elected position. Why would she turn on someone that saved her from a prison stay and a felony record? He suggested that she get some help regarding her self destructive behavior. In fact, all of her former allies (including myself) have that in common.
The split between the Gilchrist and Simcox was orchestrated by Ms. Peterson (Deborahs real last name) so that she could attempt to control this movement. I know because I was the one that did her work for her. Many of you will not believe that she is the mastermind behind the MMP, but it is a fact. She recruited all of the board of directors including the Executive Director. Because they all owe their positions to her, no one will speak against her. They are also well aware of what happens to people that cross Deborah.
Jim Gilchrist is one of the finest men I have ever met. The hours we spent together on the caravan, the first protest in Washington and the policy conference in Nevada are times I will always remember as some of the best of my life. However, he and his Executive Director need make Minuteman Project decisions based on the cause, not fear of Deborahs retribution.
It is time to weed out the dead wood in all of the organizations, come together to settle our differences and emerge as one powerful (National) movement. However, this cannot be accomplished with the current Minuteman Project board of directors in place. They will pull support from any organization or political candidate they cannot brand with their logo.
The Minuteman Project has gone as far as distributing third party literature on the Republican Party Convention floor two years in a row. This year they accepted Dick Montjoys generous offer to use his table to sell Jims book. While Mr. Gilchrist signed books, his supporters passed out fliers for Art Olivier, the Libertarian candidate for Governor. Meanwhile, MMP Political Director Deborah Courtney made sure she had a picture of her taken giving a signed copy of Jims book to Governor Schwarzenegger.
The next day the project released a press statement endorsing Olivier. You have to admire the audacity, but when they started getting heat from their remaining Republican friends they retracted the statement. They claim to have been misquoted, but it was forwarded by Board of Directors member, Barbara Coe to all CCIR subscribers.
Ultimately, Its not the mistakes or high school drama that makes organizational change necessary, its the fact everything is done so half-assed. They have trouble organizing and publicizing events, keeping staff, implementing border watches or even answering the phone. They are making an event out of a border watch lasting a few weeks and covering a few dozen miles, when they could have covered the entire border 24/7 by now. The project has been run like a fly by night travel agency.
If you want to purchase Jims book, buy it from Amazon, not the online book club. This way the proceeds will go directly to Jim and his wife who have sacrificed both financially and emotionally to this cause. Jim is the victim in this mess and deservers our respect, help and support.
For this letter I will be labeled a traitor, but its not what they say behind your back that counts; its what they say to your face you must answer. I can prove my accusations. The treachery here is from those will to trade the cause for influence and money.
I will no longer be checking my email address at minuteman project.com or using the Minuteman USA phone. Answers to specific questions will be provided to the press via email at www.myspace.com/bluecollarconservatives

WOW!
Let's see
There's always been arguments and disagreements in those involved in the Minuteman stuff, in all the groups from the MMP to MCDC to SOS, the Gilchrist campaign, etc. Sometimes it's kinda humorous to read about it.
Not sure who this person is in the myspace thing. I never really looked at their myspace pages. I saw one profile page with a photo of Chris Simcox, but I'm not sure if that is his myspace page.
I got a private message from someone on the OC Register forums saying he/she has quit the MMP over something like this. He/she didn't go into details. I sent a message back but haven't recieved a confirmation that it was read yet.
I've see Gilchrist himself as immature as well as others. Remember the footage I posted where you can hear him yelling at me saying "how many little boys and girls did you molest today!" and something about "a little boy in your attic?" I've seen what looks like negative moments like when I asked him about the Anarchists who protested against them at the border when they(the Minutemen) were trying to stop the drug trade, he said it's because they(the Anarchists) want the drugs to come in. As if a bunch of Anarchist youth are saying, "yeah we gonna stop the Minutemen, then it's more drugs for us! Yay!" Gilchrist didn't explain this idea further.
And there's the other stuff he's said like calling me a kook and saying I have a relationship with Satan. And awarding me the "MMP Benedict Arnold Award." My offer to display a physical medal, trophy, or certificate in public still stands if they wish to come up with one to provide me with.
I'd like to see if Chris Simcox is able to pass a background check...
Deborah Courtney with schizophrenic behavior, wow... She's the one who told me about a total of four(which I assume includes Megan and Maciek) white nationalists that were invited into the Gilchrist offices by Eldon(campaign grassroots manager, half brother of Mary Parker Lewis). But if schizophrenia really had anything to do with her making that statement to Debbie Sattler(who is remaining quiet about this and Megan/Maciek it seems, except blurting out some confirming words that Naui heard in Lake Forest), well isn't that interesting. I myself know for a fact that Megan and Maceik, who were seen rallying with skinheads/white nationalist and supremacist types in Laguna Beach and other places, were involved in the Gilchrist campaign. As for another couple, not sure. Deborah Courtney descibed one of the females, I assume other than Megan, as large. I don't recall the exact word, may have been tall or just large. Well if there's another couple involved, I guess it remains a mystery.
As for Tim Beuler, I have personally heard him express hatred towards gays. It was in a car when we got back to Gilchrist headquarters from a CCIR meeting. He also explained why it's okay to shoot and kill a protester in a scenario where they're destroying property, not other people, but property like say a building. He seemed to have a war kind of mindset, defending certain precautions and decisions in regards to the troops in Iraq. Such as screening civilians and being prepared to shoot, that sort of thing.
Deborah buying Tim alcoholic drinks? Wow, I wonder how far that goes...
"Because they all owe their positions to her, no one will speak against her."
I remember when I was out in the parking lot and spoke to a participant about the white nationalists that were involved in the campaign. Deborah came right out and got mad at me for that, hahahaha. She said she was gonna ask me to go with her to plant campaign signs(I wonder if alcohol was gonna be involved... j/k) but asked if I was in the campaign anymore. I stated clearly that I wasn't anymore(because I was kicked out and was okay with that) and I make it clear to her that I DON'T ANSWER TO HER. Man the look on her face, hahahahahahahaha!
"It is time to weed out the dead wood in all of the organizations, come together to settle our differences and emerge....."
At one point this was what I was trying to say. And also there was a time when I was pretty much the ONLY one following their SOP, Standard Operating Procedure. I was the one person who video taped their behavior at Lake Forest and reported to management, following the SOP. Well from what I dealt with, their SOP don't mean jacksh**.
As for weeding out the bad ones, there was that point of view too. But the thing that canceled that out and made me not care about their specific movement anymore was my differing opinions when it comes to day labor workers. I didn't want to protest against them or disrupt what they had to do anymore. And I argued with some of them via email, and all of this happened before the white nationalists in the campaign incident. Some people still think I support day labor workers simply because there were Stormfronters in the Gilchrist campaign. But it's not that simple and if it was, I'd be a retard(no offense to the mentally handicapped). I have reasons for taking the position of letting the day labor workers work for the princple of getting what they need(food, clothes, family needs, etc) while they wait for their fate(deportation or amnesty/guest worker). Whatever fate happens, it won't be for a while. They need to stay alive somehow.
The MM/SOS weren't so merciful.
"Meanwhile, MMP Political Director Deborah Courtney made sure she had a picture of her taken giving a signed copy of Jims book to Governor Schwarzenegger."
A lot of this is about pictures and publicity. This is like the pictures with Ann Coulter on the SOS forums. And when Jim Gilchrist rushed onto the stage at a CCIR meeting to get pictures with Tan Nguyen, who was running for Congress in Garden Grove(district 46 or 47 I think). Handshakes and smiles at the cameras, it was so obvious.
Now we get to the name of this person, Edwin R Williams. Haven't heard of him I'm afraid. But I'd like to speak with him.
"For this letter I will be labeled a traitor...." Don't worry Mr. Williams, the MM/SOS use the word "traitor" like they complain about their opposition using the word "racist." Eileen called me that in Irvine the same way they complain about their opposition doing to them. It's all the same.

And yes I'm open about this here, there, anywhere. Nothing to hide. I don't answer to any group as in following someone's direction. But I'll answer questions from anyone. I wish people(the MM/SOS in particular) would answer mine!

In case anyone missed it, the claim above is that the MM board has members tied to the Council of Concerned Citizens.
The Council of Concerned Citizens is an off-shoot of the pro-segregationist White Citizens Council of the 1950s; that is to say - the Klan.

You're very welcome. Communication is great, works wonders.
I forgot to add that I'm not surprised that someone else decided to speak out. But I was surprised at how much he had to say. But I'm sure we can count on more and more people speaking out. Stay tuned.

MINUTEMAN FOUNDER UNDER ATTACK BY INTERNAL TERRORISTS
For years, Jim Gilchrist had been concerned about the illegal alien
invasion of America, which is so evident in southern California. On
September 11, 2001, as he watched the terrorist attack on the Twin
Towers, he was outraged that these terrorist-murderers were mostly
illegal aliens, here on expired visas.
Three years later, the government had done nothing to secure the
borders, and Jim Gilchrist decided that letters and phone calls to
politicians clearly weren't enough. On October 1, 2004 he founded The
Minuteman Project and launched a recruiting program that called together
patriotic Americans to stand watch on the borders, report to the Border
Patrol, and try to stem the tide of illegal aliens and terrorists who
daily, in the thousands, infiltrate America. With about 1,200 volunteers
from every state in the union Gilchrist and his hand-picked
co-organizers successfully conducted the largest Minuteman assembly
since 1776.
For his efforts, Gilchrist, a wounded combat Marine veteran and retired
CPA, has been routinely attacked by the usual suspects: special
interests, pro-unrestricted immigration groups, amnesty supporters, drug
lords, and others, in and out of government.
Now Jim Gilchrist is under attack from a different sort of terrorist:
covert subversives who managed to gain Gilchrist's trust, only to breach
that trust by attempting to kidnap the organization he founded.
Gilchrist has effectively led The Minuteman Project since its inception,
but according to the propaganda voiced by these brazen corporate
raiders, Gilchrist is a bad guy. These hostile corporate raiders claim
they are taking over The Minuteman Project to "save" it.
Save it? Hijack and take it over, is a more apt description, says Steve
Eichler, the Minuteman Project's Executive Director. He supports
Gilchrist and is outraged at the high-handed manner in which a gang of
isolated insiders have moved to oust Gilchrist.
Deborah Courtney, Marvin Stewart, and Barbara Coe have all been trusted
confidantes, said Eichler, and it is devastating to Jim and me,
personally, to realize that they have been covertly manipulating to take
over the Minuteman Project.
Courtney, Stewart and Coe claim that they are the Minuteman Project, by
virtue of them having voted Gilchrist off the Project's so-called board
of directors, a board that never existed.
That's pretty funny, says Eichler. The Minuteman Project is incorporated
under Delaware law, and Jim is the only corporate officer. There is no
board, so just how is it that three supposed board members meet secretly
and vote off the founder and president, then vote to give themselves
access to the bank accounts and withdraw money? What will they claim
next, that Marvin L. Stewart is the president of the United States in an
attempt to oust the president from the White House?
These people were simply confidantes and a board of advisors, explained
Gilchrist. They were not a decision-making corporate board. Even if the
seven-person board they claim to have been a part of existed, how could
three people, who couldn't even constitute a quorum, meet secretly
without notifying the others, and take any sort of legal action?
There is also the question of bank fraud, adds Eichler. Deborah
Courtney, Marvin Stewart, and another person went to the bank with bogus
paperwork, seized the Project's bank account and withdrew Minuteman
Project funds, causing the Project's outstanding checks to bounce. We're
not talking about a simple policy disagreement, here. This is white
collar crime, and we intend to pursue it as such.
An Orange County Times article (Ousted Minuteman Leader Seeks Court
Remedy, by Jennifer Dilson, Feb 27, 2007) refers to the non-existent
board of directors having ousted Gilchrist, and refers to Gilchist's
claim that the renegade board had stolen 20,000 letterhead stationery
and envelopes bearing Gilchrist's personal signature, had hacked into
the Minuteman Project's website, and had stolen money from the Project s
bank accounts (about ,000, according to Gilchrist, who filed a
criminal report of theft with the Orange County Sheriff), and had
diverted money from other sources. Gilchrist plans to meet with
investigators from the Federal Bureau of Investigation next week to
discuss any federal criminal violations that may have been perpetrated
by the takeover collaborators.
Gilchrist is concerned that Courtney, Stewart and Coe will use the
stolen Minuteman Project materials, including access to the Project s
mailing list, to send out bogus appeals for funds. Our supporters are
dedicated patriots. They don't deserve to be deceived by bogus
fund-raising appeals, says a concerned Gilchrist.
Attorneys for both sides presented their case Feb 26 to Orange County
Judge Randell L. Wilkinson. This morning the court ruled in Gilchrist's
favor by expediting the matter and setting a court date for a formal
hearing on March 21 at 1:30 PM in Santa Ana Superior Court.
