by Ibrahim Saturday, Sep. 09, 2006 at 1:56 PM

Confront islamophobic racists in Culver City this Sunday. Counter-Protest is planned against a racist event. SOS, Minutemen, and UAC plan to show cartoons of Prophet (pbuh) and hang effigy of Osama in front of King Fahd Mosque to provoke the mosque. Where: 10980 Washington Blvd. Culver City, CA Date/Time: Sunday September 10th at 4:00 PM

Salaams,

The racists SOS, Minutemen, and UAC, are holding an anti-Muslim rally in front of the King Fahd Mosque in Culver City, CA this Sunday at 4:00 PM. They plan to display the cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in front of the mosque and also hang an effigy of bin Laden in front of the mosque to provoke the mosque and try to indicate that all Muslims support Osama. There is a counter-protest and teach-in planned at 4:00 PM with outdoor Asr prayer at 4:27:

Where: 10980 Washington Blvd. Culver City, CA
Date/Time: Sunday September 10th at 4:00 PM

Bring signs, see you there,

Wasalaam.

False Alarm

by Jorge Saturday, Sep. 09, 2006 at 2:48 PM

For those who have followed the SOS boards, this event has marginal support amongst the ranks of SOS. The leadership of SOS must pay political favors and the rest of the membership is scratching their collective heads.

SOS is focused on illegal immigration, so this is a real surprise.

a suggestion

by Sheepdog Saturday, Sep. 09, 2006 at 4:52 PM

can you see the attempted linkage being promoted between terrorism and the undocumented? We have a ready victim population who has demonstrated and succeeded in alarming ( to white people who fear such things ) some other people with their belligerent tone, which was well exploited by the media and which makes me believe they were provocateurs. in well orchestrated mass demonstrations that are paid for by interested parties to this racial tension.
I see a dangerous potential for scapegoating and misdirected hostilities for any 'outbreak' . And the cascade of fear driven repression.

Why do you say False Alarm, they must be confronted

by Ibrahim Sunday, Sep. 10, 2006 at 10:34 AM

Looking into it I see that this has support from the LEADERSHIP of SOS and also a chapter of the minutemen called the 'Campo Minutemen' as well as the racist UAC. We must show up in force to show their hatred is not welcome here.

Hatred disguised as freedom
UAC is the new KKK
