i'm sure stepping on the flag when it's on the ground like a filthy rug will win over the police and other authority figures.
nice job of documenting how futile and useless your communist tactics are.

Disrupting communities and enciting violence are a couple of things industrial capitalism does best.
The farm is an amazing example of what people can do--provide for themselves and take care of each other. We have power and the state's excessive use of force demonstrates that power of which they are afraid.
We must keep trying to figure out ways to fight together.

I don't think the farmers would have been into stepping on the flag. They don't appear to be into that kind of thing. The demonstrators should try to exercise the will of the farmers.

The land may have been purchased, but it seems irresponsible on the part of the developer to not assist in the relocation of 350 families. A powerful man with the means to purchase & develop such a piece of land should have the means or connections to help locate new land for these people. They tried to offer money for the land they were on, and he refused. It shouldn't have to be a law to protect these people - it should be his own conscience speaking to him.

Better organizing strategy in the very beginning was key instead of alienating the supporters who originally helped. It's a little to late for Hollywood Squares.

It is absurd for people to try to take care of themselves and others. They should apply for welfare and food stamps like the rest of the poor people in Los Angeles and let the government take care of them.

Silly me! And this whole time I thought trespassing was illegal! What a dope! I'll make sure to leave my door unlocked when I'm not home- maybe some squatter needs my place in order, "to try to take care of themselves and others"! God forbid they should do that in a legal manner!!!
