The gay, lesbian, bisexual and trans-gendered community of Los Angeles will come together this weekend for two days of love, equality and pride. This event was started 1970 to mark the anniversary the
Stonewall Rebellion on New York's Christopher Street in June, 1969. The parade is free and open to all. For more information:

I'm writing this at home as "pride " parade is going on.
I've marched in many past CSW parades's with my Transgender contingents.
the parade --filled with commercial and 'religous' entries, very feww political ones,
and the $20 to-get-in 'festival' [plus double inflated prices for everything you eat and drink], and has-been 'entertainers' isn't worth it.
San Francisco's is much bigger and better and lny charges only $ 3.00 to enter.
Instead of Love & Equality, CSW seems to promote GREED, HYPER-CONSUMERISM, AND ELITISM of upper-class, white gay men, with all others in 'LBGT' only after thoughts [just another sucker to have their wallets and purses emptied by CSW organizers].
