Dancing to the rhythm of Son Jarocho style music, hundreds support the South Central Farm. The S. Central Farm is believed to be the largest urban garden in the entire United States, and is in danger of destruction by a wealthy Brentwood developer. With a pending eviction of all tenants on the land, the support committee of the S. Central Farm is calling for a 24-7 vigil circling around the farm.
Tonight music played, community members secured street corners, capital driven media rolled their cameras, and the farmer's served up fresh, hot coffee. Performers included area hip-hop artists Olmeca and Quis IMC, and Son Jarocho style musicians Son Del Centro.
The farmer's support committee encourages all supporters and potential donors to visit

It is great to see Son Del Centro and so many people celebrating. Many people are watching LA-IMC and sending our best hopes. I am sorry that I can not make it down to the farm to defend it with my mind and body. If you are in the Los Angeles area and reading this comment, please go do whatever you can to save the farm.
feed people, not capital.
The call for a statewide convergence has been made. Please tell your friends. The scene here is growing everyday. And news of it has gone international. We not are watching history. We are writing it!
People making the trip will find Free camping space, Free food from Food Not Bombs, Free music, etc. Just get here and become part of the encampment. Lot’s of things are still needed to provide support for the farmers and tree sitters.
