Challenging religious theocracy from USA to Iran

by question religious dogma Monday, Apr. 24, 2006 at 10:13 PM

Theocratic governments that appear from the Bush regime in the US to Zionist Israel to Islamist fascism in Iran, Saudi Arabia and Khartoum (Sudan) are based on patriarchal myths and fallacy..

When discussing the modern conflicts between extremist theocratic elements in the US, Israel, Iran, etc.. it helps to understand the historical background of imperialism as we know it is based on a series of myths and fabrications. For further info, resources like this website may assist people in challenging theocratic regimes;

http://www.jesusneverexisted.com/

with additional info found in the book "Jesus Never Existed" by Kenneth Humphreys. The name 'Jesus' or 'Jeshua' was common in 1st century Palestine as John, Bob or Tom would be in modern day USA. How many people named John were publically executed by the US (Empire) government in the last few decades, similar to the countless people named "Jeshua" by the Roman empire?

all quotes below originate from the site above;

"But was there a crucified Jesus?

Certainly. Jesus ben Stada was a Judean agitator who gave the Romans a headache in the early years of the second century. He met his end in the town of Lydda (twenty five miles from Jerusalem) at the hands of a Roman crucifixion crew. And given the scale that Roman retribution could reach at the height of the siege of Jerusalem the Romans were crucifying upwards of five hundred captives a day before the city walls dead heroes called Jesus would (quite literally) have been thick on the ground. Not one merits a full-stop in the great universal history."

Judeo-Christianity originates on a series of legends and myths intertwined with historical events. Political struggle is nothing new, whether in Palestine or China. Many imperialist regimes justify their brutal acts of oppression by proclaiming some 'divine right' to rule over others given to them by 'their' God. The historical legacy of Judeo-Christian dogma has resulted in enough bloodshed, much of that continues today. The conquest of Judeo-Christian imperialism depends on a "Manifest Destiny" that promotes conversion and/or destruction of non-believers. Take this following statement into consideration when discussing the apartheid regime of Zionist Israel and the treatment of Palestinian Arabs..

"'God gave the Jewish people the Land of Israel.'

'Without that, the only claim the modern State of Israel can make is it is stronger and was able to take the land from the Arabs.'

Rabbi Ken Spiro"

Considered an "Abrahamic" religion that follows in the footsteps of it's Judeo-Christian predecessor, Islam is not without fault in promoting forced conversions of people they claim to be 'heathens'. The Islamic conquest of Africa resulted in slavery and forced conversions of tribal 'pagan' Africans leading up til modern day genocide in Sudan by Khartoum (Wahhabist) government. However, Islam itself originates in 'pagan' or 'heathen' Earth-centered spiritual traditions. The most extreme sect of modern Islam, Wahhabist (official religion of Saudi Arabia) Islam, is also most dedicated to eliminating any 'pagan' connections with Islam..

"Muhammad incorporated the Kabah's pagan roots into Islam to give the Muslims a sense of identity, legitimacy, and uniqueness. He also wanted to ease the Arabs' strain of moving from paganism to Islam, by continuing the practices of their fathers.

New twist: The Ka'bah of Mecca was built not to honour the black meteorite but Abraham himself, who supposedly built a shrine on the same spot (Sura 3:97)

Allahs Daughters:
When facing resistance from the polytheistic Quraysh tribe Muhammad appears to have wavered in his monotheism. At one stage he commanded his followers to offer prayers to 'Allah's three daughters' al-Lat, al-Uzza, and Manat, each of which had a shrine near Mecca."

What people believe can greatly influence their behavior and view of their neighbors. Challenging theocracy may be a difficult but neccesary path to overcoming the modern political turmoil between USA, Israel/Palestine, Iran, etc..
